It may help....I know that DIS is the best fan site out there (to me, anyway...I found most of my vmk friends here!) and I am very loyal...but it never hurts, you may find someone on another site who will take the offer! Hey PPl. I'm Glad to be a member of DIS!!!!!!!! The person's nm is COOLBOYAYE. I'm not sure if he does need it any more. Well.. he's a staff member. His room name is Any Thing For Inferno!!??

Sorry to tell ya, but if his name is COOLBOYAYE and does not start with VMK_ or HOST_ then his is NOT A STAFF MEMBER. And a staff member would not have a room called "anything for inferno". If he told you he was staff, that is about the most serious thing you can do on vmk to get you banned, usually FOR LIFE. If someone tells you they are a staff member, you should REPORT THEM. Staff members always start with VMK_ or HOST_, and when you click them, they have a badge that looks like a orange circle with Mickey's face on it. They also wear green ears (that no one but staff can get) and green flip flops (which some, but very few, non-staff members have).

If you see someone impersonating staff you should warn them, or report them. Just click on them and hit the report button, and explain that they are saying they are staff. That is a BIG NO-NO in the VMK world (sadly, more harshly punished than using inappropriate talk or scamming). If they are a guest, they may be new and not know about this, so it might be nice to tell them they could get band for doing that, and if they continue to say they are vmk staff after that, I would report them. You don't even have to tell him you are doing it, and he'll never know it was you. VMK can look at any conversation history and see what was said, so they will investigate any reports like that before banning.

OH, and "I'll Kill You! I'll kill all your dogs!" is a quote from Strongbad, the character in my avatar. He is from my favorite web cartoon, HomestarRunner. The quote is just something he said and was the first thing that popped into my mind to put there (I change it all the time).

It says earlier in my earlier message. their names will always start with VMK_ or HOST_. Like, if I was staff I would be VMK_Miakoda and if I was staff paid to run games, I would be HOST_Miakoda. They have an orange mickey badge above the pins, and wear green mickey ears. If you have any other questions, you can PM me or look on the main vmk boards here (not trades and wishes) for the answers. Read all the "sticky" posts, they are there to guide you with learning vmk. If you still can't find the answer, you can post it there in a new thread.
