Infants on Pirates

We just made our ressie for January, and I'm just wondering if people have taken their infants on rides like Pirates or JC? Our little one will be about 4 month old...

Yes, we have. Your baby can ride anything without a height restriction. I recommend a baby carrier for rides and shows. (Not a backpack, that you would have to take off.)

My oldest and youngest DS were 6 months old when they went to WDW for the first time, and they loved everything except Ellen's Energy Universe it was a little loud at times and scared them.

Absolutely! In fact, if you have a sleepy baby, it makes a great place for a nursing and the nap that probably will come with it!

I took my daughter to Disneyland at 3 months and her very first ride was the Jungle Cruise! Like a PP said you can take a baby on anything without a height restriction. I also insist you take your baby on It's A Small World or as I like to call it "Crack for babies"!

DD went at 2.5 months, and she rode everything except Maelstrom(sp?), because I couldn't remember how it was. I would suggest you skip Figment with a little baby. It is very loud, and DD screamed the whole time.

I also second what someone else said about the front carrier. DD felt very secure on the rides when she was strapped to me.

We took our son (twice!) at 3 months old to DL on Pirates. Once he fell asleep on it, and the other time he just sat in my lap and stared at everything. My SIL had a 2 month old boy along as well, and she just nursed him the wole time. It was actuall calming both times!

Thanks for all the info! I'm so excited for the baby's 1st "out of the womb" trip, since s/he's already been twice since I've been pregnant!
