Hey all,

As I was looking around my house, I noticed all the outlet covers and cabinet doors locks that we have due to my 16-month old daughter's curiosity. I know I'm going to need to bring some of these items down to the BCV when we go in August but were wondering if anyone else has a detailed list of what I should be bringing.

If anyone actually has a schematic that shows all the outlets, that would suffice!

Thanks,

I don't know that info but I also wanted to remind you to plug and put up the phones she will have access to. They are hard wired and not portable. My youngest is obsessed with phones so we had to unplug all but the phone by our bed (we hid that one) and put them up.

just check the room carefully. You never know what could be left behind by the previous guest. I have seen pills on the floor under the bed. As for childproofing the room, I wouldn't really bother. Unplugging the phone is a good idea and keep the bathroom door closed. You won't be in the room a a ton except for night time and naps. We just kept a close eye on our daughter or put her in the pack and play while we needed to get ready.

Watch those balcony doors too! But a request please- if you decide to REMOVE the little pins that lock the bathroom/bedroom doors so your little one doesn't lock themselves inside PLEASE replace them before you leave! We have to call maintenance more than one trip to get them put back . We were told they were missing due to people 'child-proofing ' rooms (understandably so but..) and negleting to return them to their former state upon their depature -lol!

If she is like mine, she will be too busy "talking" on the phone to get into anything else.
