Inexpensive Storage

Hi all!
just thought I'd share some storage solutions that have worked nicely.

For Cricut Cartridges : You know the Photo Boxes you can get on sale for $1.99 at Michael's or ACMoore. They will hold 7 Cricut Cartridges! It's nice that you can also stand up the box, to create a "mini" bookcase look. Then you put the lid on for crop travel.

The other is for Sizzix.
It's the sterlite plactic boxes with the Flip lids. (they're kinda hinged and left flips onto right to close.) They are just the right width for the large sizzix. The lids swing all the way back so these too can give that mini bookcase look I guess tghe biggest difference between that and the Tower is that the Dies sit on top of each other. When closed and laid in Horizontal postition the boxes nest on top of one another. I'll try to post a picture.

I was actually trying to figure out how to store the carts since Mom gave me hers....I'll try that this weekend...
Oh, and for the sizzix, I have one of those.... I'll try that too..that would free up a bit of one shelf...

I have mine in the photo boxes too. I have filled 2 so far.....

Mine are in two baskets with handles; one is a wire basket, the other is a wicker basket. Easy to transport to crops that way.

I sue these for all my scrap stuff. Even the cricut fits in the drawers! I have three, all with wheels so they can go into whatever room I want to scrap in. Them come from Ikea so they are pretty cheap, yet really sturdy. I drove an hour and a half one way to go buy them when my local ikea did not have any in stock

Oh cool! Thanks for the idea, TinkerKat! I had a larger verson of that Sterlite tote, but found that it wasn't working for my bookshelves so I gave it to DD. The smaller version would be great though!

I'm currently using just one Sizzix tower - because every time I placed an order with CreativeXpress when they were cheap, they were also out of them. Our local stores had run out months before that. Anyway, the rest are in a drawer in a short filing cabinet sort of thing (none are deep enough for hanging folders). Sadly, it's filled and I'd ordered a few more things late in September that just won't fit.

I was wondering if the Cricut carts would fit in those photo boxes. I was trying to figure out how I could store my carts since my sister and I are in the process of redoing our computer room to have a space for our scrapbooking stuff. Thank you!

Do you have a picture of the Sizzix storage? I'm having a hard time visualizing that one...
