Where do you buy your indoor tanning lotions? The cheapest bottle the salon had was $20 something, going up to $50 or $60 a bottle!:scared1:
This is my first time going tanning in years but that just seems SO expensive!:scared:

Don't ask me, my brand was $80 last time I purchased it :rolleyes1 I am loving the new price

But I have used Eurotan and some brand at WalMart that had a bronzer and found the results to be "good enough".

You can get some on Ebay. I bought a tanning bed for my home and got $500 worth of free lotion. I expected to get 75 bottles of lotion for that cost, and got about 25. I gues the prices are just that high. Check Ebay.

WOW!!
I can't believe they charge that much! I honestly quit looking when I hit the $50 to $60 mark, I'm guessing the prices went much higher than that! I just can't spend that much even if I wanted to.
Thanks for the link & I will check also check out Ebay.
Another question...do the lotions really make a difference? I used to go tanning as a teen and don't remember using anything then but the lady at the salon today kept insisting. I wasn't sure if that was a $$ thing or not.

How do you like having your own bed? What company did you go with? Have you noticed any increase in electrical costs? How expensive is it to replace the bulbs? Sorry to be so nosy, I would really love to just get my own. I'm a bit of a tan freak.

Year round tanner here and I can tell you that there is a difference between the "cheap" and "good" stuff. I like the Designer Skin line. I prefer Black, which runs $70 a bottle. I do get a discount with my tanning membership, so ask where you tan. My first bottle was half price. When I use better lotion I can go less often (3 times per week) and be darker than I am if I go daily. I also really like Spellbound. Check Ebay, I have seen it cheaper there, but make sure it's not old. Also I think the better lotions go further, they don't take as much.

Hopefully to help answer your questions, I too have my own bed. I love it! I purchased it from an individual and it works great, I have not had to purchase new bulbs. I have not noticed an increase in electrical costs, I am the only one using it, mine operates on 110. I purchase my lotions, etc. on ebay. Feel free to ask more questions.

I love my bed. I sent you a PM with more specifics. My electricity bill has not gone up at all. I have a 220V with a 15 minute timer. The lotion does make a difference, use a good one. The bulbs will last about 5 years before I need to replace. (Don't tell your friends you have a bed.)

I use Ocean Potion tanning lotion with bronzer ..I buy it a Wal-Mart.. I think costs around $7.. I found to work better than the stuff at the tanning salon I bought for $60

Thank you! This is the other stuff I use too, only I wouldn't say it works better. Then again, I am partial to my tingle factor, which is why I love my xtreme lotions

I copy and pasted your info and sent to the hubs  Guess what I want for Mother's Day! :thumbsup2

I LOVE Black! I used it for the first time last year, salon was having a 1/2 price sale. The salon where I tan most always is having a Special on one lotion or another, and that's what I buy. I have ordered lotions online, the last time that I did that, I did get a lotion for $16.00 then they charged me $15.00 to ship it. I didn't know what shipping was going to be until after I had checked out. I will never do that again.

Tanning Salons charge a TON of money for lotion. Most good bottles cost $50+. I recommend Australian Gold as a brand. You can get over half off of all lotions at lotionsteals.com :)
