Our family of 4 went to Orlando this past June and spent about $79 one way on AirTran per person. I just checked AirTran for our October trip and they are showing $87 one way per person. Should I book this now, or wait a little while to see if they come up with Web only fares, or if fares go down for that time period? I figured it out that it is only about $19 more for the four of us than when we went in June. Just wondering everyone's opinion....:confused3

If I were you I'd wait until the fall sales hit in August or early September which will include travel dates in October. I've seen sale fares in the IND-MCO market of $49 and $59 one way. You can see you flew in summer....high season....for $79. And October is low/dead season. The airlines just don't give anyone incentives for booking this early. Basically, once Southwest Airlines opens October for taking bookings then the sale for that period begins and most other airlines match Southwest's lower fare.

I would wait also. Airtran always has sales. If you haven't already, go to their website and sign up for their email alerts. You will know when they're having sales, and just hold off til it covers your time period.
