Are there any other indie music fans out there?
Or does anyone have any suggestions for rarely-heard-but-good music? I'm growing kind of sick of the music I listen to now, and I'm always on the search for new bands/artists that are good. Any suggestions?

I really do listen to anything. Like on my ipod I have people like Kenny Chesney to Josh Groban, to Britney Spears, to Frank Sinatra, to Aerosmith, to Hawaiian and African chant music. I'm open to anything!

Depends on what you call indie. If it's something that not too many people have heard of in the alternative genre, Citizen Cope is a good band. Landon Pigg is good too. Klaxons and The Veils and Cansei de Ser Sexy (CSS).

I'll definitely check the rest out.

And I've never really listened to electronic/eclectic/experiemental stuff before, but I'm definitely willing to give it a try!

Hahaha, I got all the covered. My brother got a collection called "Classic Crooners" and it has all of that stuff on there, Sinatra, Dean Martin, Al Jolson, Tony Bennet, Ray Charles, Perry Como, all the goodies. So I made a copy of all 3 CDs.
And Vera Lynn is fantastic! I only have 3 of her songs though. I'll definitely add her to my list. I need more of her.
