What is this attraction like? Is it similar to Dinosaur @ Animal Kingdom? Are there any drops? I hate rollercoasters, especially the drops.

Its actually VERY identical to Dinosaur and uses the same track layout and vehicles BUT I found Indy to be much more to my liking- It didnt seem as jerky or bumpy as Dinosaur- I only rode Dinosaur twice over a year there and I ride Indy several times a trip

I think they're pretty different but perhaps that's because Indy is better themed with a better known story to it therefore I'm concentrating on the story more. Dinosaur seems to race from one stop to the next; Indy has some of that too but there seems to be more purpose to it because of what's going on in the story. In Dinosaur I felt it was just racing to the next dinosaur. Much more stop and go. Indy will slow up, back up and/or speed through depending on what's happening in the story at that point.

Terk-1: there is one drop but it's a short one.

Basically, I think Indiana Jones is almost exactly like Dinosaur if you completely loose your sense of hearing and sight. But, open your eyes and ears and Indie is so much more spectacular. If you like Dinosaur, or are at least comfortable with the ride, you will love Indie. It's a definite don't miss ride. Yes, there is a small drop, but it's not at all a roller coaster style drop.

www.visionsfantastic.com has a video of the entire attraction. You may want to check it out. Dinosaur actually scares me, it is so loud and intense, but I love it. Indiana Jones, while the same exact concept, is much more visually action packed, and although suprising in parts, is much less flashy and intense. I love it, too!
