Indiana Jones Stunt Show

There is a new Indiana Jones movie coming.. so in a way it makes sense to keep it. You never know, it might be a hit...

Also they use the stadium for other events at different times, so that might be a factor.

But expansion of a Park requires that you increase attractions... not just replace them.

Yes they could use the same stadium for a Star Wars show at any time.

Not true and why do you think it's an amazing idea to close something?
Cause the stunt show is long in the tooth, has limited replay value and would be better used as a ride space? This of course assumes closing for something else and not closing to just close it

Right now the park can't afford to close much more before new attractions open.

this area has a huge footprint though plenty of room for a new attraction once toy story and star wars are done

I hope they keep this stadium intact and use up all of the Streets of America area for SWL.To me that place was always kind of useless minus around Christmas. Even then.....meh!

They won't use everything up from the streets of America but will use quite a bit.

Streets of America was built as part of the original Backlot tour where the tram actually went down those streets and you weren't allowed to just walk down them. They were to show you how facades were built and used in Hollywood.

I believe you could walk down the street, at least part way. I think the section where the painted bridge is located was blocked off though; they could change that section so it could represent different cities. The first time we were there which was shortly after the park opened as MGM, they had a backdrop of the Empire State Building. That has been so long ago, though. I believe that one time we were there, the whole area was more or less blocked off because they were using the location for a movie. However, you could not walk through the "neighborhood" area where the houses were located except at Christmas when the Osbourne lights were up. All the other times, you had to take the tour tram.
