A while back I heard that since a new stunt show is in the making at MGM, the Indiana Stunt show will be replaced with Indiana Jones ride like the one in Disneyland. Has anyone else heard this??

I heard about the new stunt show, although I'm not sure when that is scheduled to open. I didn't hear about them taking away the Indiana Jones stunt show though! I hope not because I still like to watch it!!

Nope Indiana is not getting replaced right now, the new stunt show is back on New York Ave and Residental Street. It will be like a motorbike stunt show, from what I have read. It is already at Euro Disney.

I've seen something about that Euro stunt show on the discovery channel or travel channel (can't remember which). It's really pretty awesome! I'll miss Indy though when they do replace it.

I saw the Moteurs Stunt Show in Paris and it is really awesome. I don't really see a need for two stunt show (3 if you count the backlot tour) and I am speculating that Indy is not long for this World.

I don't mind having more then one stunt show... if they're good shows. Indy is a good show & I'm assuming the new one will be also.

I don't know what will become of Indy in the future. One rumor several months ago was that a Kim Possible show would go there. I don't know what Kim P is so I don't know if this is even "possible".

The "Lights! Cameras! Action!" Motor Stunt Show is scheduled to open on 5/5/05, in conjunction with Disneyland's 50th Anniversary celebration ( / the celebration of 50 years of Disney Theme Parks).

Not me, that's one show they could take away, in my opinion. It was great the first time and good the second time but after that, it's too predictable. It's like Catastrophe Canyon and to a lesser extent, Kilamanjaro Safaris. I wish there was a line for the Safaris that was for people who had been on multiple times. I don't need to catch poachers each time I ride! I just want to look at the animals.

Some shows like Fantasmic! never bore me so it's not just a matter of seeing something too often.

Mind you, it does save me time when I go to the parks. I can't just skip the things that I've done past the point of enjoyment and focus on the things I still enjoy and the new things.

Not saying you're right or wrong, but couldn't that same logic apply to just about every attraction in WDW ?

Theoretically, it could but it doesn't, for me. Like I said, I never get bored of Fantasmic! I think it is things that are built around 'tricking' the "audience"....the guy picked out of the audience at "Indiana Jones", getting caught in the middle of the shoot at "Catastrophe Canyon" and catching the poachers on "Kilamanjaro Safaris". The first time I saw the Indiana Jones show I believed the guy picked from the audience was an actual audience member...right up until I saw it again on my next trip. The reason it's to a lesser extent on Safaris is because I knew, from the first time, there were no real poachers. More so it would be the rickety bridge. I think there it's because I'm there to see the animals, not because it's a ride.

I could ride Haunted Mansion over and over again. There is always something new to see and even if I see the same thing over and over again, I don't get bored.

Love WDW. Love Indiana Jones:D That show needs to be updated. I think there is a difference between audio-animatronic
attractions like HM or POTC and live action stunt shows.

If it means they will bring in the Indy Jones ride, then the stunt show being gone isnt a big deal. Its cool that in some form or fashion IJ is a part of MGM.

Yes, replace Indiana Jones stunt show with the Indiana Jones ride that is in Disneyland. It is similar to Dinosaour {formerly Countdown to Extinction} at AK. It would make a great replacement. The stunt show hasn't changed at all and to me, it is getting kind of boring.

I swear that if they take away Indiana Jones that will be the last straw and Disney will be getting a long letter from me. I love that show, love Indiana Jones and would never want the ride. Plus they wont put that ride here because its too similar to Dinosaur.

Please, not that.

Sorry, but it needs updating. They can keep Indiana Jones and make it a new adventure, new stunts and new comic routine.

I'd love the addition of the Indy ride. IMO it is much, much better than Dinosaur or the Indy show.
