Independence Day Challenge-Last Call for Updates!

I had to find my first post to remember how much I started with, lol. I must have lost a few pounds since my last check-in, since I'm now down 5 since we started (hello - how did THAT happen?)

So I am now at 5/10 (and can finally claim my 10-pound clippie!!) :Pinkbounc
 
Down a half this week, so am 2/10. Guess I will have to bring out my drill sargeant for the rest of this challenge. I am determined to lose those 10 lbs!

Thanks DisneyGoof--you are doing a wonderful job on this challenge! Giving us lots of motivation!

I haven't posted in a while as there hasn't been anything to report. I am still maintaining and still hope to loss those stubborn three pounds by July 4th!
 
After a good start to the challenge, I held steady this week at 205. Of course, I had 2 big Italian meals in the last few days so I expect that there's some water weight that should woosh right out of there this week. I hope everyone else had good productive weeks as well.

Weigh in day for me today. I lost another 1.5 pounds so that brings my total to 4.5/16. Congrats to the losers and maintainers this week! :)

I guess I posted too soon, I finally lost something.....a big huge 1/2 pound. I'll take it though, I am down to the lowest I have been in about 18 years.
 
Ok, I weighed in today and I'm the same...so that's a relief, I didn't gain. I'm at work now so I won't be able to do anything till I get home, hope to do some walking maybe, since I did weights yesterday.

:hyper: Well I finally...finally..lost some weight, I lost 2 pounds, so that makes me 2/8.

We leave this Saturday for our cruise, hopefully I can lose 2 more pounds and then not gain anything on the cruise (probably just wishful thinking on my part)
 
Well, I even did my weigh-in a day later than usual to give myself a chance to show some results, but the hard truth is that I'm still stalled. Hey, it's better than gaining, for sure, but I hope to show a nice loss soon. Oh well, here's hoping for next week!
 
This week I lost 5lbs, and was able to claim a new clippie, just 1lb away from the 115lb clippie! :hyper: That puts me at 7/13 for this challenge, just a little over half way there!

I maintained this week so I'm stuck at 2/10. I have been doing a lot of weights this past week though - I actually noticed little biceps poking out of my generally flabby arms! So I'm hoping for a little whoosh action next week.

Congrats to all the losers! :)

I hope it's not too late! I've been busy finishing up school for the year & am finally getting caught up with the board.

I'd like to lose 20 pounds by July 4th!! I know it's kind of high, but I've already lost 8 pounds since May 9th!!! :)

So that's 8/20!! :) Almost half-way there!!

I've lost 21.25 pounds since joining Curves March 8th! I started the Curves Low Carb Diet on May 3rd. I need to make a new 20 Pound Clippie!!

I had to buy a dress for a handbell performance (red, white, or blue) this past weekend & was excited to fit into a beautiful red 8/10 dress!!! It was just a little snug across my bust, but I still have 34 pounds until my goal!!!

I've read all of the posts on this thread & saw that there have been several new clippies earned!! Way to Go!!!:Pinkbounc
 
Well, nothing spectacular from me this week....just 1/2 lb. That puts me at 4.5/12 for this Challenge. I guess I'm right on pace tho, to losing 12 for July 4th, if I lose 1.5 lbs each week from now until then.....we'll see. :worried:

Way to go all you Losers and Maintainers! The holiday weekend is past us now (I didn't want to say 'behind' us now- LOL) so, let's get back OP or, keeping up the great work, whichever it is for you and, Drink :drinking:, drink :drinking:, drink :drinking: that H2O!!! :cheer2:

Well, I maintained this week. But, with the TOM and a holiday weekend with in-house guests, at least I didn't gain. DId anyone see how much rain the midwest got? That meant LOTS of inddor activity (snacking), so I'll repeat. at least I didn't gain.

Way to go for all of the "losers"! Congrats to Claire, Disneygoof and FonFon for the new clippies!! (Sorry if I missed anybody!)

Way to go!!!

Hope to report better news next week!
 
I'm a little late in posting- we were out of town- but I was able to stick on plan, and I am down another 4 pounds for a total of 8/15 in the challenge.:bounce:

Started last week really great, but with DS birthday, holiday weekend and TOM I have maintained.
Drunk lots of water today and kept on plan::yes:: .
Still at 0/7:( Hoping for better next week:wave2:
