Saw a sneak prevue of the movie today. Went with low expectations based on previews. While not quite Nemo in its magic, a great family film that is even funnier to the adults. Wonderful marital humor in the movie

Sift through all the rumors of backbiting, undercutting, DWSKG political deals, and tell us how bad Pixar's latest release will embarass the producers of 'Home on the Range' with its opening take (short review of HOTR: bad movie but great music).

$70.7 million says Yahoo & USA Today.

That means Matt and BrerAlex must split the cap and contract equitably. If only I could find Mr. Boo to sign the cap...

But let's not forget Mr. Stanley, who I believe was the next closest, and earns that beautiful new photograph.

I've mocked Disney's recent efforts, yes, but am I a hypocrit if I enjoyed the 'Chicken Little' trailer I saw before 'The Incredibles?'

"They deliver absolutely the best story first and meld it with the most unbelievable technology out there."

Wow this dude from Disney will sure not last long with comments like that.

That guy was in my YMCA father/son/daughter group in the early seventies. He's worked his way up from a regional job for Buena Vista in the Chicago 'burbs. (I was one of the daughters.)

I have great faith in him and hope that the even higher ups listen.

..... I think my 200 mil might be a little low, but I don't think Incredibles will do a whole lot more. Looks like National & SBSP are stealing its thunder for the next couple weeks.

I don't know, while its great National did so well, Incredibles was only $9 mil out of 1st place in its 3rd week. Looks like it will go over $200 mil by next weekend.

You think it hits $250 mil?

I was thinking 220-225. I think it will all depend on how strong SBSP is as I think it will siphone more away then National.

But the long holiday weekend may prove to be highly profitable for all three movies.

Any big releases due out Weds or Fri ?

Lining it up side by side with Nemo, it's still faring well. In its third weekend, Nemo did $28.4 mill. But Nemo had the advantage of being a summer film, so its mid-week numbers are stronger. Through 17 days, The Incredibles is at 93% of Nemo's take through the same period. Incredibles will have this holiday weekend to help keep pace. If it slows down and makes 85% of Nemo, it still ends up being a $275mill film.

Any reports of people going back repeatedly to see Incredibles ? I thought I read that repeat viewers helped to boost Nemo.
