I saw the Incredibles for the second time last night. I fell asleep Friday night because I was so tired. Last night I found it was awesome. But I noticed that they didn't have the scene where Bob is getting into his super hero outfit that is too small, and yells up to his wife, "Maybe just a salad!" That was such a funny advertisement. Isn't it unusual not to put it in the movie? Just wondering...My son kept waiting for it. I thought I had fallen asleep through it the first night.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I don't know why that wasn't in it except maybe they made it so far in advance that they didn't have room for it at the end? You know, a deleted scene? I bet it will be on the DVD as a deleted scene. Maybe. :p

in Monsters Inc they did the same thing. The trailer and commercial were not in the movie. I thought it was strange at the time but it's the way they do things.

I think is pretty neat that you can go to a movie haven't seen all the movie through trailers and commercials.

They may have done this with other Pixar movies but I can't remember. I only noted it in Monsters Inc.

I was going to say the same thing about Monsters Inc. I think they do the short scene so they can show somehting funny and give a small idea of the story without giving anything away.

They've had that trailer for the Incredibles ready for... about a year and a half now I guess. I'm pretty sure they had the trailer done before the movie itself was finished. I think they just do little teasers to hook you, but that aren't part of the story.
