I did the BLT tour last Thursday and bought 100 points...now I am seriously thinking I should have gone higher (40-50 higher) given the impending price increase. Has anyone called and tried to increase their buy shortly after getting home and still gotten the discount extended to the additional points? (I got a $12 per pt discount for 100 pts)

Thanks,
Susan

Yes. I changed my first BLT contract 3 times based on incentives and number of points.

Give your guide a call and just ask him to up the amount of points on the contract. Should not be an issue at all!

And, once you start the process, you lock yourself in to the price so as long as your contract has not closed (and if you just got home, it probably hasn't), they will modify it for you, especially since you want to buy more!

Good luck!

Yes. I changed our BLT purchase to a higher number of points with the same pricing. I'm sure that Disney would be more than willing to increase the number of points on your contract without changing your pricing/incentives.

Can you get your additional points in a separate contract? You may want to split it up if you can. Might be worth asking about if that suits you.

I did that exact thing. At first I thought I wanted 200 points. I called back about a week later and wanted to add 50 more. I had already signed and returned all the original paperwork. They did an "add-on" contract for 50 additional points but I was able to get the same pricing discount as the first contract.

Thanks for the input- I did call & he was able to change my 100 point buy to three 50 point contracts, although I will have to sign new documents on the original two 50 point contracts.

Thanks again!
Susan
