Increase in Cruise Points

I know there has been discussion about this but I have a question? I thought that Disney said that they can not increase points until 2042. They can just redistribute them. Is that only for the home resorts?

Yes, they can't increase points for any of the DVC resorts: HH, VB, BWV, VWL, OKW and BCV. Any of the other options, WDW resorts, DCL, concierge collection, etc they can raise points as they see fit. What happens, is they take the points you use to book those reservations, and convert them into cash ressies through CRO. That's how they can pay for the reservations outside of the DVC resorts you have made.
