Inconvenient Annoyances thread

How about a thread where you can just vent about something that went wrong in your day. I'll start:

Yesterday took the dog to the vet and came out to a price tag of $150 and immediately came home to a disconnect notice on my front door from the electric company because hubby forgot to pay the bill for two friggin months - so with reconnection fees and everything that came to $857 - this two days after putting in a new A/C unit because the old one died. And this all on the day (sorry any men reading) PMS decides to kick.

Plust tonight we have a birthday party for his cousin that starts at five and REALLY don't want to go.

Vent away.

Lol, I need to vent about Tuesday! I had a message from my job ( I changed positions) to come on in, just needed to sign the paperwork and pick up a new uniform and it would just take 10 minutes.

I went all the way in, the paperwork was wrong, payrate was wrong. I got to go chase after managers for like an hour. Then after they corrected it, they sent me back to get it taken care of and the HR woman had gone to lunch. (it was only 11am, I had been there sinve 830) so when she came back from lunch at 1230 and HOUR AND A HALF LATER she informed me that the only uniforms they had left were small ( I am xl or L on a good day) so I should go buy something similar somewhere. WTH??? Then I went toi get a new work ID and they spelled my job title wrong.

It was just one of those days. lol. My 10 minutes of paperwork turned into 5 hours, got out of there at 130.

My college Freshman can home to weather the Flu upstairs, yes she is quarantined however mom has to take care of her.
My vent is illness......

I am still coughing over the cold I got last week.

Bleech...I hate cold and flu season.

Something really crappy happened yesterday at my crappy job, but the job market is so crappy that I can't leave right now.

Today DD left the house for school crying because I interrupted her while she was talking.

my dishwasher started making a really high pitch whining noise last night. I need my dishwasher, I run it every day!
So instead of taking my car to the car show this weekend I will shopping for a new dishwasher. BLECH!

I went home around 11:30a.m. yesterday to put a pork roast in the crock pot. When I went to the basement, I noticed the freezer door was open. It had been open for DAYS! We lost an entire hog and two turkeys! That's several hundred $$ worth of meat.

My cubicle mate has some virus that keeps her coughing all day. She also chews ice.

My other one smacks her lips when she eats.

Yesterday there were issues in the school pick-up line. Then dinner issues. Homework issues. And to top it all off - the school fundraiser - my daughter was crying because she wasn't going to get the free toy they promised because they wanted us to do something we couldn't do.
