Incentives? fact or fiction?

Hello all, I am currently looking at resales. I have checked the secoundary market as well as contacted disney. I was wondering if anyone knows of any current "member referral" offers? I looking at the BCV. I know DVC has done it in the past, but wasnt sure about anything recently or which resorts would apply, if any?

There is also an existing thread somewhere around here with member referral offers (there is only one dedicated thread allowed for that).
Here's that thread - it discussed gift cards for referrals, but I don't think that is being offered any longer, just lower price per point (whatever it says in that link above).

A $500 gift card was possible with a referral from an existing member. I didn't think it has ended already, but will try to contact my guide to find out. Definitely check out the referral thread...lots of members willing to give one.

Oops, just reread your post...don't think BCV would qualify for any of the incentives.
