The judge messed it up.

Oh well...it was the first time doing the oath for BOTH of them. It's not a big deal. How many important speeches did Bush mess up?! (I like Bush but come on...)

That's what I told her.. They were in front of millions, possibly billions of people (including television, internet, etc.).. who wouldn't choke?

to quote her "umm... I found it.. "interesting" that Obama paused on 'faithfully'"

he didn't pause, the judge said it wrong, and he was allowing him to correct it.

I didn't like her outfit. That's going to be what comedians hit on. If they can't get Barack on anything, they'll head straight for her loud fashion statements!

The gold clashed horribly with her greenish leather gloves. She's had nice outfits in the past, but I think this one was a bit over-the-top. I did like Malia's outfit though. and Barack was very sharply dressed.

But did you see Aretha's bow?! I love her voice, but that hat....

She always sounds pretty bad to me. Her voice hasn't aged well. She was just named the best voice of all time too...I was like what??? She was good in her younger days with Respect, Natural Woman, Chain of Fools but now she just over does everything! She also seems to be dramatic. I remember at the Grammys last yaer Beyonce performed with Tina Turner and she called Tina the Queen of Soul or something like that. Aretha had a hissy fit saying SHE was the one and only Queen of Soul. After not shutting up about it Beyonce's dad basically said that Aretha was acting like a child and she should shut it.

Aww the 6 yr old from Michigan who got tickets from a congressperson (her aunt wrote a letter about how much the 6 yr old campaigned!), she got locked out of the ceremonies because a metal detector broke D=

I haven't read either of his books...I'll get around to it one day.

i watched it at school at lunch time.it was cool. like everyone was cheering and clapping, and it was so loud you couldn't hear the tv.it was a fun experince.

I'm glad I didn't watch it at school, and was at home, instead.

My school would not have been a happy place and that would have upset me too much to really savor the moment.

I like harmony.. I wish America could come together instead of (on both sides) nitpicking every single little thing.
