By the way, I sent DCL a letter through e-mail and it was responded to by Tracey. Think its her real name? LOL
She is a wonder woman, answers every e mail. Imagine thousands of e mails are answered by Tracey herself.

 

[I Luv Disney Cruise]

The surgeon says my dad can go on the cruise and that he is in great shape for being 10 days after surgery. But, the decision is still in my dads hands. He made the comment to the dr. that if he feels the way he does now next week he doesn't want to go on the cruise. The Dr. mentioned that he should feel a lot better by the 11th, but still can't do much. I believe what might happen is my parents will cancel the stay at the resort with DH and I (May 8th - 11th) and maybe still go on the cruise. They will make up their mind on that by tomorrow, since the deadline to cancel resort rese is tomorrow.

Anyway, the news in general is great!!! Thank you all for your prayers and concerns. Still keep him in your thoughts and prayers, for the rest of his recovery to come through with flying colors.

TKD Lisa... DH can't wait to post that same kind of voice mail. And to think he can't even get to check phone messages on board. WOW a real vacation for him. Ususally he gets up early and checks while we are all asleep.

Jim... You rank right up there with Joe, you guys have all the info. But I have to tell you we appreciate it. Any R&D info? Looking for Nachi Cocom. Any info can be posted or emailed. I can't seem to find a real website with info about it.

One week from today we will be winging our way to MCO and then the Wilderness Lodge. Kinda wierd going there considering where we live.

OK all you 5/11'ers....I fully admit I am jealous of all of you!!!! I wish you all a fantastic time. Make sure you all report back if you can (especially from onboard). Say hi to all the cruise staff for me. I miss them all so much from our 2/23/02 cruise. We will finally sail on the Western 8/3/02 (our 6th DCL cruise)- yeah!!!!!

I really had quite a few posts to check up on this time. You guys talk to much (just kidding ).

Lisa...Yes there was PLENTY of jewelry in the main store (the really big one next to the mcdonalds and lego land). Didn't see any goofy earrings specifically, but then again, I wasn't looking. They had SEVERAL turnstyles (is that the word they use for those things???) with jewelry though so I am SURE they have something. I will be back down there for the last time tomorrow, and I can check for you while I am there.

Sadly, I think I have the most work left of anyone. I will be working until around 12 Noon on Friday (10th) but probably won't be getting much work done. I will take the rest of the day to tan one last time, maybe get my nails done, and do the final shopping. Got most of the garage sale stuff piled into the living room today. Hopefully I will sell lots of stuff. The more stuff I sell, the more souveneirs I get to buy... I've got about 100 beanie babies that I will be selling for 3 dollars each. The way I figure it, if I sell all of them, that will pay for my souveniers by itself.

I Luv Disney Cruise: Pops has to feel up to it, I know he must be hurting, but if he can put up with a few laughs now then the trip should be a breeze. Get him better

Work: Not telling anyone where I am going, not updating outlook, no "I am out of the office notification email", regular message on phone. If I were to tell, then I would be missing my passport and who knows who will show up

I'll probably be runnin around screamin at the DH and DS to keep throwin things in suitcases!!!!!

We're leavin the house at 4am on the 10th to fly out of Philadelphia at 7:45. We should be in Orlando by 11am and at the pool at the Hyatt by noon. We're just gonna hang at the hotel the day before so we can be up and ready to be the first in line for the bus to the port!!!

Work knows where I'm goin and that I can't be reached!!! They will have to muddle through without me. I pay their bills so they don't mind a week with me gone. I won't be spendin their money!

Only 4 work days and 3 baseball games until we leave!!!

Jennifer, if you get this before you go to Disney, it's Pluto earrings she wants. But I've told her she has to have a 2nd choice since they may not have any.

Bunnymom, an alternative to post cards. I did this for the kids to take to summer camp last year. Most of the greeting card software programs have an option for business card type things. Sometimes they say business cards, sometimes they say seating cards, etc. You get the idea I'm sure. You can put any picture you want on there, along with names and addresses, e-mails, etc. That way you can make cards for each kid with their interests, and maybe one symbolizing (sp??) your family (a Easter Bunny springs to mind )!!!

Garry: We definitely got the shirts, and sent in the check last Friday. Last name is Sanders. Again, thanks for putting this together!!!

Andicoco, Everyone except DS has gotten the pre-cruise trim. DS keeps insisting that he waits for the boat since they MUST have a barber shop on board. Guess he already knew Andicoco was coming ! Just kidding, we'll get him in this weekend for a trim!

Getting short now. I think I'll have to join Garry and turn those days into hours!
