Just getting used to my new glasses. On the wine thing, United says ok to bring on 4 bottles of BF. Mentioned that I had better not anyone know as they would probably mug me (passengers) for some (not)!

Had an In and Out burger for lunch. Pretty good so thanks for that info. Need more suggestions for dinner in the Gaslight District?

Hopefully get back to Pacific Beach to people watch again this afternoon.

Anyone have any ideas of a good price on the "Lenox Disney Classics" specifically Donald Duck Formal (I think)?

CMATT good news on the Confirm front...we need to watch out for the geese? Blues make the playoffs? Have to spend the nights in the ESPN Sky box?

For all you ladies fretting over Mexicalifragilistic night, I just returned from Walmart. They have in a nice selection of the Mexican peasant looking tops and broom skirts. As long as you are size 16 or under you will do fine. Me - well the search continues.

CMATT the way the Fylers are playing they are lucky if they get on the ice They stink! I need to get one of those broom outfits to sweep the flyers out in the trash.

Busy weekend here. We had a test and promotion ceremony at the Tae Kwon Do school. 14 new black belts! Then did a historic lecture for DD's school project. Sunday was catch up day and I pulled all the suitcases out.

Just starting packing? I've had three suitcases packed since February! Not that I'm obsessed or anything So Sunday, I pulled out everything that I had been piling into the spare closet and sorted! I've seen lots of things said about the "packing systems". In the past, I've put my kids outfits into zip lock bags so there's no searching for matching socks or clean underwear. So, using that gray matter upstairs, I decided to combine the methods. I put two outfits into a gallon size zip lock, pushed most of the air out with my hands (and my body), then stuck in a straw and sucked out the excess air. Yes, I looked like an ABSOLUTE idiot, BUT it made SOOOOOO much more room in the suitcases! And I have plenty of zip locks now to use for all those messy things (like wet bathing suits)! I also took out a bunch of the stuff I had. I've got 6-7 full outfits of play clothes for the kids with a couple extra shirts. I know we've got the DIS shirts coming (right goose?) plus I figure we'll buy a couple as souveneirs. I've got 4 pair of shorts for DH and 4 for me. 7 or 8 shirts apiece, then our evening stuff. We each have 3 bathing suits.

Hey, whoever said they like Jamacian Blue Mountain. I have worked with a guy (an E-2C Flight Officer) whose family owns that plantation. One of those funny life stories I can share on the trip if you want. I'll see if I can get any beans to bring with!

No E-2 flyover. The production airplane won't have been painted yet when we take off. I did find out the Orlando airshow is open to the public, so if anyone wants specifics you can e-mail or pm me.

I go up to Annapolis to pick up our documents tomorrow. Then the panic starts! What have I forgotten???

DH and I went to Coronado Springs for the weekend. We had a disappointing stay. Maybe I have been spoiled from WDW. Our room had handles that were broke on the dresser, so we couldn't use the dresser. Then I noticed two other things that didn't seem to WDW like, the bedspread on one bed had a big hole with the stuffing exposed and then I went to grab a glass to pour myself some water and it had toothpaste all over it. I didn't let that ruin my night, so we went down to the pool at 7:30pm and they had already closed the bar, eating area, and we couldn't get to the towels. I couldn't understand why they were closed so early, it was still light out. By the time we went to bed at midnight, our room was a connecting room and there was a crying baby, and a little one that kept jiggling the handle. I tried my best to ignore it, but by 1:00 am when it was still going on DH knocked on the door, but no answer. Apparently the parents feel asleep while the children were crying and roaming around. So, we called the front desk and they moved us to a two bedroom suite at no extra cost. Oh, forgot to mention that the Karokee is no longer happening (which I was looking forward to). I need someone to convince me that this was just a bad stay and I should try and go back. Maybe I am making a bigger deal out of this than I should??
Anyway I am really looking forward to our stay at Caribbean Beach Resort in 3 weeks and 2 days. ..... And of course our cruise!

Got a good night sleep (no puppies on the pillows, no hair on my face, comfortable pillows) and happened to see the Soveriegn of the Seas in Port yesterday. Just made you wonder Also happened to see the "Spirit of St Louis" II take off from here. CMATT he (Eric Lindbergh) should be in your neighborhood today?

Disney Cruise: See if DCL can upgrade you to a big suite on board? Sorry to hear about Coronado Springs this past weekend. I took a drive over to the Coronado Hotel and it was pretty cool! (oldest wooden hotel in US?) WDWGoose only a few hours left then the tax man comes a knocking

We won't be leaving any jobs behind because we'll be winning Powerball tomorrow night! We'll spring for all the BF you can drink! If there's no winner before cruise time, however, I guess we'll be leaving our jobs at EPA. DH is a chemical engineer and I'm a budget wonk.. I wanted to ask about the Palo's brunch -- is it adults only? We STILL haven't gotten our travel docs yet -- should I be nervous? Orbitz said they should come 2 - 4 weeks beforehand but I'm feeling left out! It's starting to feel like summer here so I'm getting excited to go!
