Inaugural Western 5/11/02 Who is going?

I have a girl, just turned 10 (but she loves little ones, so she'll probably be happy to "help"!) and a boy who's 8 1/2. The boy's name is Casey, so lots of people assume we have two girls!!

I just bought another bathing suit from Land's End. Their summer catalogs are out, and I just can't find bathing suits that fit as well from anybody else! Just what I needed, something else to pack!

Psiklops, my DH is packing a dark suit. I've gotten him into a tux twice. Once at our wedding, and once at a pretty formal event for work. Not pushing my luck on this one!

Oh my gosh!!!! We're gonna be left on the boat while everyone's having fun if we don't decide on our excursions!!!! So much to choose and so little time!!!

DH will be Mr. Suave in a dark suit. Just couldn't consider the added expense of a tux.

A flyover would certainly make sailing out of Pt. Canaveral a special time, eh? Can't wait for the weekend before we cruise either!! Big air show here in South Jersey with the Thunderbirds and everything. (Hear that Joe?)

Told my DS he can begin and end everyday with a Mickey Bar. and YES they are ice cream with ears on a stick!!! mmm-mmm

The excitement is almost to much to bear!!! If there wasn't so much still left to do, I might just go over the edge!!!!!

We have the Navy E2-C here doing a flyover How about some F-16 escorts from the 177TFW and a Tanker from the 108th at
Mc Guire just in case they need some JP-8. HMMM....Maybe since this is an inaugural how about an AF1 flyover? Too much? Well we are still special anyway.

I think everyone should call or write DCL and demand an explanation of the THEMED NIGHTS, FORMAL/SEMIFORMAL NIGHTS AND WHEN IS THE ANIMATORS SHOW FOR EACH ROTATION.

Darn if I didn't call them today (must have gotten Brian with the attitude) and they tell me they don't have the schedule yet? When are they going to order the food, program the onboard show computers, figure out where we sit etc?

Oh well, I think I will cancel till they have all this down to a science. Oh No! I am past the refund date

We need to email the heck out of them and be sure to tell them we are not the "Giunney Pigs" and we want some GOOD ANSWERS. Will wait a few hours and see if the answer changes again. I still think it will be what was in the email (previously posted). Fomal/Semi Tues/Thurs or vice versa?

Have Tux, black suit, blazer. We have so far 994 shoes going on this cruise? Is that right Docksiders, reef shoes and maybe 6 others (3 pair)

Mjasp: We were up at Pindar last year on vacation. We bought one of those fruitty dessert wines there (maybe the Winter White?) and the thing broke on the way back. At least we have a few others. I think we bought the most bottles at Pindar, but Raphael was a close second, but only because they were a bit more expensive. I'll see if DW wants to bring a bottle or two, but we're flying as well, so they'll have to go in our carry-on.

I remember coming back from a trip to Napa with about (and I'm not kidding here) 12 individual bottles in my carry-on. Of course our layover in Chicago forced us to walk the length of the terminal.

Favorite Winery: Niebaum-Coppola, Napa Valley

Anyway, we should all have a blast! Less than 1 month left!!!

Woh...where is everyone...we were almost on the second page. No posts since this afternoon.

Did I mention that my TA said I was signed up for first seating, but my docs say second. Called them and found out that I was on a wait list. I was kinda upset....told them that they at least could've told me that I was on a wait list. Anyway, may have dinner with you second seaters...Hopefully my daughter can wait if we don't get switched.

Comin down to the wire to leave...Startin to pack up the suitcases. Bought DD a couple of disposable cameras and myself and underwater disposable along with the new digital. Hopefully we will get some good shots.

Have a good evening. Tomorrow when we wake up it will be exactly 4 weeks until the cruise...

be sure to check your dining tickets in your room when you get there. Last cruise we were wait listed for main seating. Our docs said second seating. I was never told we were switched so I just looked at the table number and dining room. We showed up to 2nd seating. We guess what, if I had looked at my ticket they would have told me we were switched to main dining. Our servers had an open table so they just sat us there. Everything was fine.

Hi everyone, Just a quick check in to say hi and bye.
I'm leaving for my cruise tomorrow.

Just an update.........I wont know anything else on Palo until I get everyones res # and names. I only have 18 so far. I had 28 on the list??????? I need to have all this ASAP so that DCL can give us a time. Garry will be your on board contact but he doesnt know any more than I do at this time. I'd like to have everyones info by the time I get back so that we can all be sure as to what is planned.
