Garry,

I would not break the video camera on purpose, although I just might accidently let it slip over board. Really it was an accident. honest ti was. really it was the BF.

I also am not a computer type person. I teach SCUBA and do lots of other things for my real job.

Almost to the three week mark.

HiFolks:wave:

CMatt: at least 129 cups full of coffee;)

We be jammin soon:p

Got it Scott:)

90 at home 60 here, whats wrong with this picture:(

Hi Folks:wave:

If you were to make a cruise video of your trip and had a chance to script it (not word for word) what would you be most likely to capture?

I would think something like arrival at MCO...limo or trans to port..first view of ship...
Music for background (Buffet)

What would you not want to miss:
Prince and Princesses on formal night.
Sailaway party
Port arrivals/departures
Dinner Selections
Character pics Sunrise/Sunsets

Other crazy ideas?

Best Tear jerk ending?
Packing the night before leaving the ship?
Paying Shipboard account?
Luggage in hallway?
Leaving the "Magic"
Baggage scramble?

What have you done you did not like?

What would you do that you have not done?

How about lots of suggestions?:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

What I have done that I didn't like, was not get enough on tape. When I look back at the tape, I wished I had taped more.. more of everything. I didn't get any footage of the islands, was afraid to take video camera on the islands, so instead I took still pictures. :D

Does a wanna-be computer geek count? No, I'm not really, but my dh would say so since I spend so much time on the internet!

dh is a deputy sheriff, my parents that are coming w/ us are retired Shell environmental engineer and ret. massage therapist. I'm a mom who used to wear a uniform and babysit adults in jail! Yep, little ole me! And hated almost every minute of it! Now, I enjoy watching my own kids in our own jail - home!!!

I'm ebaying a bunch of my kids clothes this week, hoping to make some extra dough as well. Funny how we all think alike!

Haven't heard from dcl so I emailed again. This time a bit more forceful... anyone else hear anything yet???

Kendra

Joe not sure about the immunizations or boosters, don't use too many in L&D. We do give the babies hep B inj. but not hepA. Will ask some of my world traveler physician friends if they have any idea. Will post back tomorrow.

I cannot wait to leave my job behind!!!! No computer geek here other than our Order Entry, and soon to be on line charting (can't wait). Registered Nurse specializing in OB / L&D, currently interim Unit Director for Maternal Infant Services looks like that title could be with me for a while unless someone sends a great manager my way. Anyone know a great nursing dept director looking for work, with 50 really wonderful nurses, and a few tolerable physicians? :D

:earsgirl: :earsboy: The best job anywhere would be to deliver baby Mickeys and Minnies, I want that job!!

If I happened to by the winning ticket in THE BIG GAME, I will not be leaving any job behind just my horses. (Disney doesn't allow pets)

Have to buy some more tapes for the video camara we used then all at the last show. my my the shopping lists just keeps getting longer not shorter.

keep smiling only 24 days 14 hours until ..............:D :smooth: :D :smooth: :D

I want to take this time to thank each and everyone for their post on this thread ----I have enjoyed each of you as you get ready for your western cruise --I know that each of you will have a wonderful time in each port you stop ---When you get to Key West think of me and tell Key West hello for me --take the conch train - see all the history behind Key West --did you know it is also known as Cayo Hueso (streets of bones) --it was a place where pirates went after many hard weeks at sea and came home with bounties --anyhow have a sun, fun filled with a bunch of memories - enjoy your new bond with friends - what a memory to look forward to when it comes time for the Golden Ages.
God bless each and all.
Always,
Shirley:bounce: :Pinkbounc :D

OK
Who has the counter installed on their desktop? JIM? how do we get this to work on the startbar or desktop? How many days?

No nothing from DCL or Disboards or did I miss something? Oh we were haing way too much fun here I guess. Jeez my shipboard account was almost up to what it is going to cost for my next cruise.:(

We have no movie buffs here? No directors? CMATTwhats up? Too busy or bummed about the timer?

Thank you Shirley for those kind words.

Phone responses from DCL?

Have a nice day, and turn off the AC please it is way too cold in here!

All: Currently I'm in discussions with Mr. J. Cricket over the best way to get the Countdown Timers running again. I have run an idea past Moderator Alex and he doesn't see a problem with it.

I'll let you know more once I have it.

:D

Hi everyone! We now physically have our documents. If you remember, I said that our TA got them a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday, I made the 2 1/2 hour trek to Annapolis to pick them up. DD had a dr's appointment that was an hour in the right direction.

Anybody know why we have a Bahama immigration form? As far as I knew, none of the places we visit are officially in the Bahamas? The TA said to just fill it out to be on the safe side.

Is a Bahamian Island (previously known as Gorda Cay). I guess it is for that island, which I don't really see why it needs to be since Disney privately owns it. ??? :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I think ( almost sure) Castaway Cay is on a long term lease to DCL from the Bahamian Government. Either way it is a Bahamian Island.

Also the Magic and Wonder are Bahamian flagged ships, Bahamian registry, thus you are in the Bahamas when on the ships.

I wonder if the crew has to have Bahamian work permits???

Joe need to close the video with Buffett's "it's been a lovely cruise".

Back to the grind, will be a long day.

OK I am bored.....hectic day ground to a screeching halt. Still will be long as I have a SCUBA class tonight.

So when is everybody going to arrive at the Port on 5/11???

Lynn says we can do an e night on 5/10 at the MK because I will not sleep anyway.

I admit I am like the little kid in the commercial... "I can't sleep I'm too excited".
