Probably won't go again until 2003. Just found out we have to have a new A/C installed. Well, the old one was here when we bought the house 10 years ago, and is probably @ 15 years old by now. :D We did some renovations to our house and the old unit just can't cool the house as it should be, not to even think of the cost from the power company to run a non-effecient system. (Is that a word, or did I just make something us?)

So for the time being I will cruise vicariously through my DIS friends.
:D

Hi - Legs22 and okwmeister. Hope you are doing well.

Not sure on the date. 5/10/03 would be VERY close to the end of school for DS. I'd love to do the Western, though.

Taking my DDOG (Dear Dog) to St. Augustine on Monday to spend the week with my breeder. Hopefully we'll have puppies in March!!:D (not into breeding for the money...reallly want a show quality pup. Tried to show my current dog, but she is just too friendly and too attached to me. She constantly turns to make sure I'm still there and wants to stop to visit with the people seated around the ring!)

wdwgoose- Is this DH? Well, either way, you guys know that you are always welcome to come down! We have two extra bedrooms ready for visitors. Do you do dishes? I love to cook, but hate the clean up!

Goose- so how much snow and cold do you have???
Do you also do plumbing? I need a plumber. And a cabinet man. You'd have to earn your keep:D

Happylady- It would be close to the end for Molly too. She'll be in Kindergarten at the time. But if I go on the next western on 5/24 she would miss the end of school. And then you're in to June which is big $$$$$. May is good for FL resident discounts.
Your DDOG will have more fun then I have been having.

We are getting close to the 4 month mark. This is good. Only back to work about a month from the last vacation to WDW and need another after last week.

Goose - 30 at sunrise that is a heat wave, it is about 12 here. Have to travel this next week to Cheyenne and it is predicted to be in the 50's. Time to break out the shorts.

I'll give you a hand with the South Florida project. I am the same way with building except I don't do plumbing. Today is fix or replace the garage door opener. Will let it warm up a little.

How many folks on the list????

Darlene - Will you husband be diving while on the cruise? I am sure Lynn and I will be.

We are looking forward to seeing what shore excursions will be offered.

15 groups and counting - if anyone wants to PM or email us info ie names, ages (kids), we are compiling a list that we can have available on board. also include possible excursions so everyone will know who will be with them.

DH did a dive once and is considering continuing for his certification. I will stick to the snorkle tube. I tend to be less adventurous than he is. I like some of the others prefer the shopping certification end of the trip.

TnRobin I have read some interesting items about the hotels that are being suggested to you. Have you stayed at the Raddison before? We had been considering it because of the shuttle, but in reading the boards I have learned that since we have an Avis rental we could still have a shuttle to the ship. Now I am lookin into other hotels also. Keep us posted on the best ones out there.

Dear Scott,

My husband will be diving - but not sure which port yet.

I wish we could read up on the different opportunities on the Western Cruise.

Do you know if there is anything out there yet.

Maybe they will have something on the cruise when we go in February.

He dove in St. Thomas and St. Maartain the last time. This time he is skipping St. Maartan and just doing St. Thomas.

He also dove in the Living Seas in December and he said he loved it and will never go to WDW again unless he can dive there.

We will most likely dive in CZM and GCY and skip Key West.

I am sure they will offer a trip on GCY to Stingray City and The turtle farm.

Being a planner type person I wish we had more info. It will be fun any way.

good morning goose!
How's the cold, snowy north?
It warmed up to about 70 here yesterday.
Today it's extremely windy with some rain. I bet they're rockin' and rollin' on the ships today. :(

Legs,
We have had snow all night and so far all day today. Though not much accumulation maybe an inch or so. It really looks nice as long as I can stay inside. I like to look at the new fallen snow from a distance!! (NOT your typical snow bunny!!) :sunny:

124 days, 23 hours, 15 min until we are back on board the Magic!!!
