Hey I hope everyone is getting ready to set sail!!! 99 days, 16 hours woooo hooooo under the 100 mark!!!!!
(Won't be long until the final payment is due.)

Almost bought a couple horses Sunday, but our trainer wanted the same spunky one DH did so she got him. Have another one on trial but have decided against her.

should hear on Saturday about the shirts design. will forward it to those that are interested.

I cannot wait for warm weather we've had freezing rain for two days. I hate to think how deep it could have been if it had all been snow. We would still be shoveling out in May.

Hy Joe the double vision DH experienced has been corrected.

I have a couple rolls of lime green ribbon, all I have found is the curling ribbon for gift wrapping. I will have some on all of the bags and our camara case and so forth. The local craft store is where I found ours, also Walmart had the curly ribbon bow things.

WDWGoose: Glad to hear everything went ok with the operation? Hope the double vision thing did not enter the decision to buy the horses. Me, I would rather have the horses instead of double vision so I am glad for DH.

A couple of rolls of ribbon? Do we need to get any? I mean do you use it for Bon Voyage streamers or just the bags and stuff?

I hope Cmatt is not out in the cold waiting for Rams tickets?

We cant wait for the cold weather here, have to use up the wax on the bottom of the skiis?

We're going too! Wow, what a long thread!!! DD is home from school sick today, so I decided to look through it. I never made it past the 2nd page before!

This is our first cruise. me (37) DH (44), DD (10) and DS (8 1/2) will be there. We started out looking for one over spring break, and the price scared us away. I had given up but after looking one last time on the Disney page, I started calling about the Springtime Magic rate. One Disney confirmed that rate, AAA got in the mix, and got us an upgrade, a $100 credit, and free soda mugs! So we decided what the heck, pull the kids out of school and go for it!!!

We are staying at the Amerisuites the night before (we don't get in until 9:30, so didn't want to deal with the drive over!) and are still looking for someplace the Saturday we get back. I'm thinking of staying at Port Canaveral and taking the kids over the NASA! Sounds like there are some good suggestions out there, so I'll have to check the poll!

Hope to see some of you then! I liked the smelt thing! I went to college in MI, and still remember a group of us after our semi-formal dance going to a Coney Island (basically a 24 hour diner) and all the guys getting SMELT! Grossed us out!

We will not be arriving until after 9:00 also, but the trip to the Port is really not that long. It is really nice to wake up the next morning with all the traveling done.

J&J, I think the poll she is referring to is my "plan my vacation" poll about hotels in and around Cape Canaveral.

Welcome tkd Lisa. My DH is compiling a list of our cruisers for those that are interested if you want to PM or email info to him you may. which MI college did you go to? I am a recent grad of EMU. hey any chance the tkd stands for tae kwon do?

J&J I use the ribbons just for streamers. I bought a couple because I had such a hard time finding any I didn't want to have to look if we ever cruised again. I will just have streamers tied on my bags, none for the sailaway party (just bubbles)
No the double vision didn't affect our horse buying decision at all. Me wanting to cruise again in Dec may have though. DH says I cannot do both (two (or three) Arabian show horses = limited vacation funds.) He thinks one horse is more than enough.

The weather down here is so beautiful! It was 78 degrees today. I went to the beach today in Palm Beach near Worth Ave. Sunshine and hardly a cloud in the blue sky. The water was a tad cool tho. Thought I saw the Magic sail by.
Those cruisers have great weather for their trip.
Wish I was going this May!

In answer to your questions, yes the TKD does stand for Tae Kwon Do. I'm a 2nd degree black belt and senior instructor at our school in Southern Maryland (that's my part time job). My DH is a brown stripe (took 2nd place at Nationals last year), and DD is green stripe while DS is taking a break, but currently green belt.

I went to GMI Engineering & Management Institute (formerly General Motors Institute, currently Kettering Institute - yes they are looking for their identity LOL) in Flint MI. Congrats on the degree from Eastern! I had a couple of sorority sisters from that area, and went to visit them once. It's a beautiful place in the summer!
