Just read a post on which dock the magic will use. Looks like it is the dock right down town. a Very short walk to the ferry dock, shops etc. I wonder if that lady there will still sell me the Rolex for $50.00???? She said it was real.

Joe just a bit of advise, pack both fins. If you each just have one you will only swim in circles.

Scott from what I can see Chitzen Itza is about a 2-3 hour drive from Playa. We have been there and Joanne wants to go to Tulum with a trip to Xel-Ha for snorkeling. It is only a 1-1 1/2 hour drive that way. Give us time to get back and have a drink at Carlos' n Charlies. Do not know if we will do any diving since we have done that in Cayman and have heard nothing but horror stories about divemasters in Cozumel. But will see. If you find the ferry or jetboat info as far as rates and times let us know?

Goose: Any word on the shirts? Know you are busy with the Kiddos and horses so when you know let us in on it. Thanks.

J&J - yes there are some pretty bad stories of Dive Operations in Cozumel , yet there are some very good ones. We will definitely be diving.

Your times to Tulum are on the money and that would make a great side trip. There are some interesting ruins in the middle of CZM. Also the east side has some pretty nice beaches, note here they are plagued with some screaming rip tides.

Good to hear you have the BF all lined up. It has been a very long time for that vintage.

Will try to get the Cozumel Ferry info out tonight. Gotta run to teach a SCUBA class this afternoon.

Glad to see the thread up and running again, I was in withdrawl. Not long now, I can't wait to be on the boat and sailing away!!

We will be brining a vinifera from local Virginia vineyard. Hope all will enjoy. Brunch sounds good to me, my parents will be celbrating their 30th anniverssary, DH and I will be celebrating our 2nd anniverssary and DH's 30th birthday!

On another thread, it seems the Disers did not wear the lime green ribbons, (perhaps they wore them somewhere). Is there a shortage of Lime Green out there?

Does everyone here HAVE the lime green ribbons and do you plan to wear them?

After some Boones Farm, Virginia Blush and Ohio first crush the lime green really wont matter

OK it is back to work today, the 76ers did win this weekend as well as the Flyers so all is not lost.

J&J - Finally the ferry from CZM to Playa del Carmen are about $7 each way and it is easiest to get a round trip ticket, saves time if you arrive late at the ferry dock. The schedule is in a constant state of change. I remember they ran pretty early 7:00 am to about 9:00 pm.

Cmatt DCL will arrange for folks to dive with a good operator, just wish I knew who. The ones you have to watch out for are the independents. I know people that have been left out in the big blue wet thing while the dive boat made a run into shore for another dive group.

Expecting -20 tonight. I understand MO weather My folks live in Bucklin. They were talking about an ice storm last night.
