Inaugural trip...

I bought my first TT at a spring RV show. Never pulled one, or even slept in one before this! I've been on two quick trips, and have another one planned for July 4th week. It's been great so far. No real problems, and I'm finding out what I really need. I found that I like regular dishes and silverware, rather than paper and plastic. I found some collapsible bowls, measuring cups, dish drainer, and colander that I'll keep in the camper all the time. It makes a huge difference in our very limited storage space in our very tiny kitchen! My trip to the Ft for Christmas will be my first long drive, but hopefully I'll be a little more practiced with backing into a site by then! :santa:

They key to a long trip is not pushing yourself mentally of physically. I see a lot of people really try to push the trip and all you end up doing is loosing a day once you get there due to exhaustion. We head down from VA and take 2 days to make the trip. It is a lot nicer, and when we get there we are not completely wiped out from the drive.

Those look like happy campers! Mission accomplished. :thumbsup2
