me too! Between love bug season and hurricane season, I'm not so sure signing up for an early October race was such a great idea.

I thought they were diurnal, not nocturnal.
That's good news, if it's true. Apparently, they are EVERYWHERE, though, which should make for an interesting weekend.
And they LOVE white. Another reason never to wear it after Labor Day.![]()
This is my outfit for the race:

Thoughts?
From our friends at the NWSI (thought I) learned years ago that the percentage of precipitation was concerning the coverage area, not amount of rain. For example, if there's a 20% chance of precipitation that means that 20% of the area will see precipitation.
As anyone that's been to this area once knows, it can be raining like cats and dogs and then you walk a mile and it's perfectly dry.
I'm not worried about the rain, but if it does have to rain, I'd much prefer a drizzle/shower than a downpour, if anyone who has control over that is listening....Good advice on the hat/visor though. Might need to pick one of these up, even if this race is the only one it gets used for.
Anyone else getting nervous about the weather?![]()

Up here in Illinois, we don't have lovebugs. Do they bite? Or are there just a lot of them around? We've only been to WDW once in later October and never noticed any insects.
