Chip and Dale are always good for a laugh. On our last trip, Alice in Wonderland walked over to my very shy DS during the parade at Animal Kingdom and was attempting to shake his hand. I had backed up and was trying to take a picture of it. Just as I snapped the picture, one of the pesky chipmunks was right next to me and waved his hand in front of the camera! It annoyed me for a second as I was afraid I had missed my picture but previewed it real quick, and it did take (turned out to be a great picture!) Anyway, when I walked back to my group, my mom asked if I got it, and I said, "Yes, but I'd like to choke me a chipmunk!" DD, age 6, hears everything. The next day we're at The Garden Grill for the Ice Cream Social. When the chipmunks come around, my DD hugs Dale and said, "You know what? My Mom said she was going to choke her a chipmunk!" Dale looked over at me, held his hands up to his face and sidestepped over to the next table. It was really cute!!
A couple of trips before then, my DD had lost her first top tooth. We were at MK getting autographs from the chipmunks. As Chip was signing the book, Dale tapped me on the shoulder, pointed at my daughter, pointed at Chip, and then pointed at his teeth. I realized what he was trying to say and told me daughter. She acted all embarrassed and started walking off. Then as the next child started to come up behind us, she turned around real quick and ran back to Chip and gave him a big hug! Guess she empathized with him!
Oh yeh! Same trip at The Garden Grill, I had my hair all up and tucked in - it was so hot!! One of the chipmunks, as he was visiting with the table behind me, reached up and undid the clasp, and it all came tumbling down. My kids were rolling on the floor laughing!
