Myself and my 8-year old son are going to WDW on President's Day weekend (I know that is not the best time, but I wanted to limit him to missing one day of school).

Our park days are Saturday (2/14), Sunday (2/15), Monday (2/16), Tuesday (2/17), and Wednesday until 2pm.

MK will be his favorite, so I want to spend 1-1/2 days there.

Any idea which parks we should see on which days.

here is a list of magic mornings, the park opens 1 hour earlier
than the printed times on each day

you might try this.

DAILY SCHEDULE

Sunday - Magic Kingdom
Monday - Animal Kingdom
Tuesday - Disney-MGM Studios
Wednesday - Epcot
Thursday - Magic Kingdom
Friday - Animal Kingdom
Saturday - Disney-MGM Studios

oh yeah, should have asked if you were staying onsite?
if not use the list of which parks to avoid on which days!

I would probably save MK for Tuesday and Wednesday, it should be somewhat less crowded then...kind of like saving the best for last also...LOL

Saturday is EMH for MGM, so maybe choose Epcot or AK instead. Monday is EMH for AK, so choose Epcot or MGM, then whichever park is leftover would fit on Sunday.

Here's what I would do:
Saturday-Epcot, Illuminations 9pm
Sunday-AK, since AK closes early I would use this evening to relax a bit, maybe play mini golf
Monday-MGM, Fantasmic 8:30pm (this is the second showing, may be less crowded, but it also shows at 7pm)
Tuesday-MK, SpectroMagic 8pm/Wishes 9pm
Wednesday-MK

I'm by no means an expert, but based on recommended days and such, this is what I would choose.

The advice I always give people is to try and visit Epcot as early as possible during their stay. Particularly when you have children, I think that it may be the least appealing for the youngsters. A couple of thrill rides, some (educational) activities and a LOT of walking.

The longer you wait to see Epcot, the more anti-climactic it may seem.

Given that you are arriving on a Saturday (a day on which you DEFINITELY want to avoid the Magic Kingdom), I'd suggest you start with Epcot.

Beyond that, try this tool to assist you in your planning:

Although I'm not sure how the holiday might upset the recommendations given.
