Where Would You Stay on Cash?

Here we go again.....

I hurt my knee a few months ago and was recovering quite nicely but then had a set back this past weekend to where exploring Epic for the first time was not going to be in the cards. Universal graciously refunded everything back to our credit card, even the AP we had purchased but hadn't activated.

We will do a more or less relaxing week at WDW instead. At least there we know how to avoid crowds, etc. To top it off because of how we booked Christmas week (initially borrowing from 2026 UY for a 1 BR at BRV and then switching to a studio at RIV) we freed up enough 2025 UY points that could be borrowed to grab a BWV studio for the nights we will be there. I also have no idea how we got 6 nights in a BWV Studio at under 60 nights to go, but I'll take it. So, a nice, relaxing Boardwalk visit and no cash spent......

Enjoy the relaxing trip!!!

What's the price for Coronado Springs (non tower)? The villages are nice enough rooms, the dig site is a good pool, its central enough for good bus times, and is usually not too expensive.

Updating this. We pulled a complete180 on this. We are embracing making it an adventure.....

Universal APs purchased.....2 days of Epic Universe tickets purchased.....room booked at Royal Pacific. The FOMO is real.

Will be our first trip to Universal since right after they re-opened after Covid.

ETA: Added a third Epic day and changed hotel to Stella Nova so we could walk to Epic. 3 Park single use Express Pass for all 7 days (a 5 day pass and a 2 day pass) was considerable cheaper than 3 individual single use Express Passes for Epic alone. It makes no sense, but it is the way it is.
Definitely do the 2 shows at Epic. Both are really well done and the HTTYD brought tears to my eyes in a good way. They make the Lion King and Indy shows look even more dated than they are. They do a really good job of blending projection and live action.
