Good Morning!
Well, it has been a rollercoaster of drama these last 24 hours. The job that I was waiting to come through is not going to happen. They did not win the contract. AND the company I work for now did not win it either. What does this mean...I have 90 days. But, I was contacted by the company who is a subcontractor under the one that did win and they asked me to send my resume and salary requirementd. I signed the offer letter today so now it is up to the government to come through and place everyone in the positions. Lord only knows how long that will take. I hope that it will be a smooth transition and that this new company will come through. I am trying to remain positive but I was up all night worrying. I am not sure I have it in me to be a contractor. Doing this dance every 3-5 years is going to kill me. The upside is you can make a butt load of money the downside, no job security. I feel like this today

.
Onto better things:
Kat, I am not a morning person either and am not pleasant until i have had my coffee. Even the kids 3yo knows to be kind to mommy until I have had a cup.

Man, I wish some of Mr. kat's OCDness would rub off on my DH. I am the OCD one in the family and it is exhausting being the only one.
Erika, You look MARVALOUS, Darling! Really, you look great! You have no a$$! What is your DH talking about?
Paula, I am looking forward to seeing the girled-up Goof! I hate, hate, hate, clothes shopping. Which is why all my pants are pinned at the sides so they don't fall off when I get up...

I know classy, right?
Liz,Great job joining the gym! I hope you really enjoy it. With all of Erika's great advice you are going to be the super cool soccor mom. My DS is in gymnastics and is only 1 of 2 boys in the class. The other boy is the instructors son. It is a sea of leotards and perfectly put-together SAHM's. I show up with my giant coffee, dragging along the baby who is bored out of his mind, and if I am lucky I have on, a clean t-shirt and running pants. I stick out like a sore thumb. And I have the tumbling, balance beam walking, vault jumping boy.

What can I say...
Snow,I loved the PT story. i am sorry it was so painful, but an epidural...
DWD terrorizing the local teenage boys...nice

I am glad you said something to him. I have no problem yelling at other kids, especially if they are in some way affecting my own kids. Though, my 3yo is proving to be quite good at defending himself unless his adversary is a 5yo girl. He is sporting a giant bruise on his forehead as a war wound.
Dawn, Sorry to her about the tax drama. It is so stressful. What the hades is up with Dan's ex? Poor Da. It is a good thing he has you
