I hope everyone is staying warm - the temperatures are dropping here again!

Hmm, New Years Resolutions. Generally I don't make them, for the exact reason you said - It always seems to set me up for failure!
This year though I WILL make one and that is to get healthier and to start running when the Sciatica is under control. Baby steps!
I am SO ready to get back on track! Im just waiting for the new exercise dvds to come, and im hoping i'll see a huge improvement in my back/leg pain.
Ive got a smaller plate to help with portion control and ive got a recipe book just bursting at the seams with WW, Slimming World, Calorie Controlled recipes - you name it, Ive found them!
Over the next few days we will be winding down with the parties/social events and the New Me starts on Monday! However, over the next few days I wont be using 'Starting Monday' as an excuse to stuff my face with everything in sight, Ive fell for that one before!
No, I just mean that while I won't deny myself the nice food and drinks on offer, I will watch what I eat rather than being silly!

I'm curious - has anyone been giving any thought to New Year's Resolutions? I'm not typically a big resolution maker. I tend to think that quite often we set ourselves up for certain failure by setting unrealistic expectations. But, it always seems that this time of year I get so reflective...thinking about the good things that have happened this year, and the not-so-good, and just what I want to do about that.
