Good Morning Ladies,
Its 3 AM here in IL... Had a babys butt in my face so I woke up up (Yes I Am a bad Mom, I cant get my kids out of my bed) (No I did not want to have a family bed) DH sometimes works nights so they worked their way in my bed then. I start them in their beds and some how I hear momma I sleep wit u. At 12AM...... Someday when they are off at collage they will sleep with out me!!!


Kat, When are you doing the princess 1/2? Also, I see you live in NC. I love NC. I have a friend who lives in Raleigh, Before kids, I use to go aleast 3 times a year. We would go out to downtown Raleigh then most of the time drive to Mrtyle. We always had a blast..

Morning everyone! Last day of school for the kids before break. We ALL get to sleep in for 12 whole days! Love it.

Jo--don't sweat it. We do encourage the family bed in our house, for the most part anyway. Last night both the 7 and 8 year old were in our bed (we have a super king, so we all fit). It isn't every night and they will all go (and stay) in their own beds if we tell them to, so they are capable of it. We just like family time and it works for us, so we let them in with us. It's also a schedule thing for us. Jeff goes to bed at the same time as the kids (8:30) and I work late at night from home, so I don't go to bed till like 1. And then he gets up at 3:30 (by choice). So it isn't like he and I have much time in bed at the same time anyway. Weekends are a different story. They all usually sleep together the 3 of them on the weekends in one of their rooms.

You have 3 kids, what are there ages, girls? boys? I know you said 2 were 7 & 8.... Do you get them alot at christmas? I did buy alot for the girls, and now I think I should not have. But their only little once right? And we don't have extened family that buys fo th kids.

10 year old boy--Riley, and the girls are Cammie (8) and Kelly (7). Yes, three kids in three years. It makes life interesting.

And yes, we totally over-indulged for Christmas. Every year we say we aren't going to and every year we do. And we also have extended family that gives them stuff, so it is pretty out of control.

My girls Alexa age 5, tuned 5 at disney world this year. I wish I had my birthday at disneyworld when I was 5!! I have a pic of the prince putting on her glass slipper on her bday. put I don't know how to post pics

Jo, I am in Raleigh-Durham. I love it here! I grew up in western PA, and spent 8 years in IL before moving here in late 2000.

Phew! Whirlwind morning is complete. Got Kel's ear (just one) re-pierced, check. Three school holiday parties, with teacher presents and snacks delivered, check, check, check. (Kel was able to go to her class party, so that was great. And since I was in the building at Cam's party, it was all good.) This evening we have a ginger bread party to go to--if Kel holds up. We'll see.

Tonight I will clean the house, tomorrow I grocery shop and prep cook. Thursday, it all begins. With my dad as a minister, Christmas is a 3-day extravaganza around here. This year it will go on for four days. My house just the 24th and 25th, thankfully.

See why I need to be done shopping long before the actual day gets near?

Kat, we use to go to a bar names 42nd Street, on Thursday Nights in Down Town Raleigh. I have not been to Raleigh in 5 1/2 years.
Myrtle we would always go to Froggie Bottems. The best house band I have ever heard.

Well today was a very very very bad day for eating. The boss took up out for lunch. Started with a Salad, then chicken and sweet potato, then,,, We ordered all 4 deserts for eveyone to share, there were 8 of us. Thank goodness tomorrow is a training day for me. Now gotta make kids dinner. And make 2 Pumpkin Cheesecakes for Chirstmas. We have people stopping over for the rest of the week, MIL comes in tomorrow

Hi gang....

This week is going to be a long one with work, workouts and holiday prep work. After the gym tonight made another batch of Nancy's sugar cookies. I'll bake them off tomorrow. Mom found these 3D cookie cutter things and wants to have one at each person's plate for Christmas Eve dinner so I get baking duty. I'll try to get pics to share.

Tomorrow night is another workout with Jesse and then I am making the cookies, a lasagna and prepping everything for Thursday night. I have to work at least a 1/2 day on Thursday so the more I get done tomorrow night the better. One good thing is that my family is heading to a basketball game so I'll have the house to myself to do this.

These windows - the next few are like being on a drug trip. They are/were fabulous. I would take a picture and then lean against the building in glee. I was going to say in ecstasy but I don't know - oh who the he!! cares everyone knows I'm a tad off. I adored the windows AND the reflections. They are - shoot - I want to say Lord & Taylor but they're not. They are at 5th Avenue and Park - oh they don't cross do they? Okay on fifth - near the corner where the horses sit for Central Park. Why am I explaining this? Crazy.

Ok So I got my fat butt out of bed and on the treadmill for day 3 of training 25 mins 1.6 miles 16.4 min pace. The last 10 mins are so hard
Maybe because of all the Crap I eat at lunch yesterday.

So DH worked the night shift last night, still not home, has to do a report I have to leave for work in 40 mins. I could take my kids to my office
BUT...my SANTA stash is there. UGG, so be late for work, again, after we got to leave the office at noon yesterday. Or wake up my pregnant neighbor.

Merry Christmas Eve-Eve! That's how the kids woke me up this morning. But lovely little things that they are, slept till nearly 8 so we are feeling good.

Lisa! OMG! Your photos are always so stunning. The eye you have! So jealous! Jeff and I joke that we don't have a right brain between us. I know you told the cutie like ten times...BUT...what camera do you have? I have to get a new one to replace the one that was stolen in Disney.

Jo--what a drag about your work dilemma. Hope it worked out. No advice from me as I work full time from home (online).

Up for today - grocery shop, prep cook, finish cleaning the house, Christmas craft with the kids (they are on vacation now), and a run.

So I did not wake up the neighbor. I meet DH on the road and we traded cars I was like 10 mins late. So not so bad.
