Regarding the berry picking, I am so NOT and outdoor girl. I mean, if I have supervised and gotten thru showers for the day, we are not stepping back outside. Done. Go watch tv. My sisters find it endlessly hilarious that we are raising hogs. It's like Bush lowering gas prices. Or Angelina getting her tubes tied. Or Liz not writing. It just doesn't work that way. I suppose I'll have to go berry picking. But let me tell you, it sound's like alot of work. A. I'll be hot. B. It'll be in a field. C. Where will I pee every 15 minutes? (not in a hole!) D. Bugs. E. Did I say bugs. F. HOT. I'll let you know.

Nancy - PITY PRESENTS! That is a gem. I myself have been the bearer of pity presents, just never heard it phrased thata way. And your medical speak, was priceless. I agree with the boy, surgery sounds like the best option. But that's easy for me to say, it's not my back you hit.

THANK you all for your prayers this is one problem solved. We did not make any money on this home, but it is out of our hands and there is no more $3,300.00 a month payment. Thank God.... I am very happy and thankful you all gave us well wishes.

Ok this is way to funny not to comment on! Because this is me so through and through! I hate bugs! I HATE BUGS! I used to love the heat but now Eh I can do without it well, I still love it just don't want to stand in the hot sun bending and squatting.
As for the supervising showers, that means that I then have to finish washing the bathroom floor because it is half clean from the boys getting water EVERYWHERE so I might as well finish the rest and then by that time the boys are usually outside and dirty again .... it is just not worth the effort I let them go days without showers! I figure the go to the pool almost everyday at MIL there is their bath, chlorine cleans everything out!!!
Fields = bugs= me not happy............. YES I LIVE ON A FARM.... I stay INSIDE! When they churn the manure pit I close the windows! At night when I get home I jump out of the car and sometimes take a nice deep breath and then end up choking because all you can smell is SH!T. I go from the hospital that smells like sh!t to home that smells like it! I can't win! I need to move back to the ocean and smell low tide because that is soooo much better! Before I moved to the great outdoors and we just VISITED my mom would roll down the window when we hit VT and say mmmm smell the fresh air I was like yeeeewwwww that isn't fresh air! I would do the same thing when we hit Boston I would roll down the window and say MMM SMELL THE POLLUTION! Then we would get home and I would say mmmm smell the ocean! I so miss that smell, yes even low tide! CAn you all tell I am HOMESICK. I haven't lived there in 16 years but I still call it home and still miss it! I need a trip home to go visit! I haven't been their since Jan I think!!

Just back from my ride...it feels SO GOOD to be "back" after being sick. Now I'm energized and ready to face the day!

Erika - so maybe I missed it here -but....you were going berry picking. (how could ANYONE miss that part! ) but....what did ya get? And what are ya doin' with it?

I noticed yesterday that my blueberry bushes got NOTHIN'. I don't remember seeing them blossom this spring... ...and I've got zippo out there....barren blueberries! (ok- that cracked me up.......so easily amused. and I wonder why the kids didn't want me to drive with them to Maine )

Snow - I am completely speechless because I would be in the same boat - Treyner fippe out last summer when he tore his miniscus/ACL/MCL and had to take 2 onths of (grade 2 to all of them) and I get when someone is fit that they are so wanting to be active - I will keep you all in my thoughts

My parents both grew up on the shore, moved "in land" when I was 3....they just recently returned to their hometown - literally less than 1/4 mile from the private beach club.
