In room surprises

Hi

we are off to disney for eight days in december, its our honeymoon

the wedding has already been postponed twice due to the ill health of my df.
this honeymoon will therefore be very special.

we are doing a split stay at bw/gf.

I just wanted to know if anyone has ever organised "in room" surprises.
I wanted to order something to be in our room every night after our return from the parks eg tuxedo strawberies.

Has anyone ever done this? what sort of thing have you ordered?
Does anyone have pics?

I have already tried to discuss this with gf concierge but to be honest they have'nt been very helpful

I've never done this - and I might be sending you on a wild goose chase!!! but - If you go onto the Disney Cruise Line board there is a lady on there all the time called Shirley who arranges gift baskets to be delivered to staterooms on the DCL - I don't know but perhaps she does it for WDW as well??? Anyway she is absolutely lovely and I'm sure she would point you in the right direction if she isn't actually able to help you herself.

Shirley doesn't do baskets for WDW AFAIK but there is this one:

You could try www.disneyflorist.com too

You could also arrange for a celebration cake to be delivered to your room. There is a good thread about ordering special cakes ont he restaurants board.

For anyone going on a Disney Cruise though, I think Shirley would probably be great as she seems such a lovely lady!! (Not that that helps on this thread!! )

we used mermories by sarah and i cant reccomend her enough she was great and very reasonable, theres loads of photos on her site and if she doesnt have what u want just ask, shell accomodate you !

We're Disneymooning in Dec too We're were having a split stay between AKL and POR but have just been moved from AKL to GF!! due to the construction work. xx

also, make sure you go the city hall and get your 'just married' button to wear, as many CM's will go out of their way to help you, and often get treats etc at meals.

also- i think you need to wearr 'bride and groom' mouse ears for extra special service.
