Snow is sweating in Vegas (probably)
Do you think it is a lucky casino day? I bet!


DH and I went to a local casino for the first time this weekend

They had a "Man vs. Chicken" promotion going on, and I really wanted to play, but you had to win the chance.

It was amazing to me how many people don't knowhow to play tic tac toe!(that is what you play against the chicken)

We didn't win any money
but just used the free promo money (me) and DH lost $20 of his own $$

I just got my class list (looks pretty good, 25 students)
but also an email from new boss
which has me irritated

new schedule for new gov't program
which interferes with my schedule for good teaching practices
I love how they come up with new things
without ever thinking about the students

of course, I will make it work
I am crafty like that!

It is sad that you were tardy for Math Day, Judi!




Today DS got senior pics taken, hopefully I can get some uploaded and show y'all. He is quite handsome

Also, big day at the Sprint store , DS's phone randomly turns itself off. I think it is just trying to go green, and be helpful. DS doesn't care for it!

They reset it, but if it doesn't quit that behaviour, he gets a new one!! Lucky him, still under warranty (how could that have happened, our luck is usually not so great!)

DS and I had a day to ourselves, since the DD's were invited to a BD celebration at a local amusement park (Kennywood)

Unfortunately, DD11 got sick. My kids are NEVER sick, so when DD14 called me, I said, 'let her sit out a few rides, she is probably motion sick"

She didn't get better. DS and I had to go rescue her (and the "local" part was an hour and a half away with traffic)

I really hate city driving....had to go thru Pittsburgh. Luckily DS loves any kind of driving, so I was chauffered

may have contributed to sicko DD11, or not

She is fine now
and the rest of the BD celebrators have not left the park yet


she slept in the van on the way home and is now cuddled under a blanket watching a movie


it is cold in the AC, she always has a blanket on
so do i
DH likes to freeze us out!
