trick or treat tonight
DH and Ds are rigging up some contraption to get headboard home safely in the truck

we woke to much rain
but it is currently not drippin'


and we have coupons for Boston Market for ONE BUCK meals today
three piece chix, cornbread and mashed taters for one slim dolla!

everyone is on their best behaviour for daddy's birthday
which was yesterday but bein' celebrated today

rib damage is caused from coughing, snowflakes are a whole nother issue.


We got Kit Kats & Peanut Butter cups. Cider, donuts, cupcakes etc, etc, etc. Tis safer to have the kids here

We even get to cook. Mr. Judi is so

Kimmy has now gone into viral pneumonia, has a ruptured eardrurm, with a cracked rib issue added to the mix. Her doctor is very proactive in treating her, and I am praying the meds works.





All because some little snowflakes had to go out. Couldn't miss a ride, a party, or stay in til their fevers were gone for at least 24 hours without the aid of a fever-reducing medicine, such as Tylenol.

Where are the parents?

Hope you get better fast.

It was a very eventful and sssllllooowwww trip home with the headboard
didn't want to send it flying down interstate 79
so cautious, slow driving the whole way home

it is gorgeous!
i love craigslist!!!


here it is propped against the wall while DH thinks about how to attach it

and here is the attached and bed made version!

it is solid oak, and quite heavy
and the people we bought it from bought it used, too
so rather antique`y

we set the clocks back tonight
so it was still quite light at the start of trick or treat

We had a tasty lunch at BOston Market

the dollar meal (with coupon)
is usually 6.79!!!!!!!!
they ran each one up seperately

minus 5.79 per meal
what a deal!

at DD10's party last night they decorated pumpkin shaped cookies
made "brains" out of playdoh and fake blood
and painted pumpkins

he is at a neighbors imbibing in adult beverages

DS was driving on the headboard trip today
until GPS told us about going through the city of Pittsburgh and the Liberty tunnels
then DH said "pull over, I want to drive"
