I have rec'd so much help over the years from all of you terific folks so I am back for a little moe!

We are planning a trip from 12-27-03 to 1-4-04. Four kids from 15 to 8.

We have been to WDW several times but never this time of year.

What advice can you give me in terms of the schedule. Crowds don't bother us too much because we have done all the rides many times. We just want a relaxed vacation in the parks and beyond.

Where should we go on NYE?

What are some of the special activities we shouldn't miss?

Thanks.

Not sure where you are staying, but on NYE in 1999/2000 we went to "Ohana for dinner, then went back to our hotel (ASSp) and hung out.

The crowds were heavy leading up til NYE, but even on New Years Day, we noticed the crowds drop off (many folks partying, so sleeping late, I guess). We went to Epcot that day, then all of WDW slowed down. Yes, hours are shorter but you have the place to yourselves! And if you want to relax, spend the evenings doing off-beat stuff, like mini-golf, or Fort Wilderness (great time of year for a bonfire!).

Have fun!

Special events are held at the Cal Grill, PI. All the parks have additional entertainment. The studios usually tries to get a familiar band as does PI. I would suggest that if you havent already plan to make a PS for that evening before you arrive. As always if you want to make sure you are in the park of your choice at midnight go early and stay.
