Season of the Breakdown. After standing in line to get an early fast pass, and rearranging my vacation to Disney just to ride space Mountain, it breaks down. All morning!!! We have to leave so my plans were a big fat bust. A really bad note note to end my Disney AP on.

Breakdowns are always unfortunate but you can't let that ruin your trip or the entire year. I think I recall you posting about getting in during a soft openin so you were able to see it still, right?

Yip. That salvaged it. And the new Star Tours was cool, which we rode twice. I just hated rearranging things for a breakdown. but it's all still good.

Question from family. Will the meet and greet for Darth Vader be open during EE? If not what time does it open? We are thinking of trying to get TL knocked out early in the trip and then concentrate on other lands.

We were there for rope drop on Monday. We had already been on Hyperspace Mountain over the weekend so we went straight to Launch Bay. They held us in a tape line on the ground outside in Tomorrowland until about 9:15, then brought the line into the area where you have to choose characters or exhibits/store. We were still outside the building but lined up inside the wall that surrounds the curved walkways that go up. They held us there until about 9:45 and then let us in.

They have been opening Launch Bay at 10am this week. Monday I saw the meet and greet posted as 120-min wait for either Vader or Chewbacca. Tuesday morning it was posted a 90-min wait. We toured Launch Bay easily with no wait and not very crowded inside. We didn't wait for the meet and greet so I can't speak to how accurate those posted times were, but Tuesday looked significantly less busy than Monday. There was a massive line outside the building for meet and greet Monday and no such line on Tuesday. We spent today in DCA so I don't know how it was there today.

I don't like it, either, but I'm assuming it's just for "Seasons of the Force".

Went on it Tuesday. I have to admit I don't love space mountain to begin with, like it, don't love it. Hyperspace Mountain was fine. Better than normal space mountain, but not spectacular enough for me to ride again.

What did they change? Speed? I don't mind it going faster but I'm already tired of Star Wars everything. When do they change the name of the park to StarWarsland or Lucasland?

The ride(track) itself is the same. They've added some visuals during the ride so it's not completely dark. That's the best I can describe it without ruining any surprises....
