We were in Epcot two years ago and never saw this area and really never had time to inquire about it. Epcot is definintly one of those parks you could spend days in and never see it all. We are going back this year and my girls saw a show on Food channel that mentioned they could taste the cokes from all over the world. They really want to check this out and I knew the dis would be able to answer their question. I'm a landmark girl and I really don't know what half those building in Epcot are, but I do know the big rides, so if you can give me a heads up on what direction to go I'd appreciate it! Thanks guys!

Club Cool is located in Future World near the large fountain. As you enter EPCOT and are past Spaceship Earth it is on the right hand side just at the back side of the fountains. Hope that is helpful - I don't have a map to post.

When you are walking in, it is on the right side of FutureWorld. It is near the fountain and across from the Character Spot. It is called Club Cool and is very well marked.

Don't get thier hopes up too much. Most flavors are not drinkable to us here. Some taste like alka seltzer and some like cough syrup. JMHO

I marked it on my map below.

"Club Cool."

Being from Canada I even find the US Coke tastes different though from all my travels around the globe I don't recall any Coke's tasting bad -- yet LOL :goodvibes

The thing is, these samples are not of "Coca-Cola" from different parts of the globe.
There is no "Coke" being offered there in free samples at all.

What guests can sample (free-of-charge) are OTHER (non-Coca-Cola) drinks (supposedly bottled and sold by the Coca-Cola Company) from other countries.

I say "supposedly" as I don't think anyone has ever been able to find any Beverly being sold during any trips to Italy... It may be a "ringer."
;)

The predecessor to Club Cool, Ice Station Cool (see several photos here http://www.wdwmagic.com/clubcool.htm) was themed significantly better than the current store. It, like so many, became part of the homogeneous look we see all too often there.

All the sample drinks there taste relatively okay to most, other than the Beverly drink, served in Italy, which is distinctly bitter in taste.

On one of my travels to Atlanta, and to the World of Coca-Cola there, they had a similar, though larger tasting area. Here is a listing of the various Coca-Cola produced drinks worldwide.

:thumbsup2 Thanks everyone, so maybe I should have some fruity gum to chew after we try some of these samples! I may have to let the girls try them first!

I am disappointed that we missed this on our trip! We have been to Atlanta to the Coke factory - the taste testing was fun. Many of them do taste different, but it is a fun activity to do...we'll have to hit it on our next visit!! :goodvibes

There wasnt one there that I liked. I love the idea.... but blech. I seem to remember a watermelon tasting one:sad2:

Aw, the watermelon one was my favorite!
Now I'm getting a wicked craving for it.

You are correct. I have lived here for 4 years. There are no sodas in Italy by the name "Beverly". In fact, people here drink Coke, etc just like we Americans do. Sure, the Coke bottled here does taste different, but not too far off the American Coke. I've had Coke bottled in the Arab counties and Greece as well. Still the same. Nothing tastes like cough syrup, etc (at least to me). It just tastes "off" a little.

I think what Coke claims to sell as "Beverly" might be some version of Campari soda, but still, there is nothing with the name "Beverly" on any soda label here and if it is like Campari soda, people don't drink that the way we all pop open a Coke on a hot day. For most Italians, the drink of choice is coffee, Coke or water. Sorry to disappoint.

They're all tasty, except for the Beverly. That you should let your daughters try first, but only if you have a camera ready!

Try the Beverly, it's great (cue evil laugh!)
My daughter (who is usually very well mannered) spit it out on the floor!:scared1: I was sooo embarrased -so was she! (she was 6 at the time)
