I think Disney just rightfully wants to stop people from making AP ressies when they don't have one. As an AP holder that can't always get the rooms, this can only benefit me. I don't think they're too concerned over the voucher issue.

We have probably used an AP rate 3 times in the past without being asked. We checked into AKL on Jan 15 and Poly on Jan 18 when we were asked both times. And they waited for us to pull it out of the billfold. I think it is okay if they clamp down, the rates are for ap holders. And I certainly hope the vouchers are good enough...someone paid alot of money for them. They both also made a point of saying we only needed 1 ap.

The computers also keep track of your kid's ages. I guess this is so they know if you should have bought that just turned 3 year old a ticket. Or for some people, that 5 year old slouching in the umbrella stroller, sucking their thumb. I think disney has more of my info than uncle sam, well maybe not quite.

We checked into the WL on Jan 22n'd and were asked for our ap. When I ordered it over the phone just days before (it was a last minute trip) I asked if I had to have it prior to checking in and the CM said as long as I had the reservation number it should be enough but that I would probably have to come back and show it. So when the CM at the front desk asked that is what I related to her and asked if she wanted my reservation number for the pass (they didn't have time to mail me the voucher). She said no, just come back and show the activated pass. I hate to say this but I absolutely forgot to ever go back and show it to her. They checked me out with my ap rate. I feel very guilty. I asked my DH if I should fax them a copy so they know I am not a fraud. I don't think he has stopped laughing yet.
