In car DVD player

DS has finally out grown his car seat and now that he can sit up unaided the time has come to get him a forward facing car seat. We also want to get a DVD system for the car that fits around the head rests can anyone recommend one - there are so many to choose from!

I'd personally go for a portable DVD player. These are now designed so that the case can be strapped to the headreast if the front car seats. It also means you can take it out of the car and use it where ever you go. I bought my daughter a 7" Ferguson, but almost any "named" brand are worth a look at.

We were advised to get a portable DVD player too as, apparently, the fitted car systems have a habit of 'walking'...........

Only problem is that DD can't watch DVDs in the car as it makes her travel sick!

I was concerned about someone breaking into the car to steal it. I have a convertable so all they would have to do is slash the roof. Will look into the portable options - they do seem slighly cheaper also. Thanks for the advice
