in-between Vacuum?

Hi DISers first hoping you all a very safe fourth of July! my question is do you guys have a recommendation for an in between clean-up vacuume I do have a big one with hoses and i'm not into those stick vacumes that turn into a hand held vac I need something compact with good suction to pick up dog hair and the toddler crumbs without always having to lug out my big Eureka, I have bare floors no carpets but the dogs are shedders so it would be used every day TIA

I just bought a swiffer vac, honestly thinking I would end up returning it because it wouldn't work. To my surprise it picks up the hair from my two aussies amazingly well. It was only $38 and I'm really liking it! I have had it about a week.

This dirt devil is also a good choice. This is what I was using before I bought the swiffer. My DH is working away from home and took it with him. It works well on bare floors also.

I know you said you're not into stick vacs, but I bought this one a few months ago and I really like it. It's cordless, light, gets under things, has a lot of power, and stores and empties easily. I use it every day for dog hairs and teenagers and their friends (sometimes worse than toddlers ). It's nice to not have to pull up the whole big vac for small jobs.
