Hi, everyone! I'm here and reading along... just not posting as much.
Tinkerbell is doing fine. However, she's pushing her boundaries a bit. She came to us housebroken, but is pooping in my house! I think she's trying to see her limits. Well, hopefully, now she knows she can't do that and still have a happy "mama."
Jacob has a band concert tonight. He's really excited, as this is his first concert where he's playing both the trumpet and the French horn. He'll alternate songs. He's the only one doing this, so he is excited! I got to sit in a counseling session with him and figure out his plans for next year. He's set some pretty impressive goals!
Katie is thick in the middle of Les Mis rehearsals! She is playing violin in the pit orchestra, and it sounds really good. Of course, rehearsals are long and hard! I drop her off at 4:30 and she drags into the house around 11:30 p.m. And then, she's got homework to do! In a normal musical she would have time between songs to work on homework, but the orchestra is playing 100% of the time with Les Mis! Sigh! At least her grades are holding steady! She's tired and grumpy, but the grades are holding steady! She's also preparing her audition for Theater productions class and Musical Theater class for next year. Those auditions are next week. Cross your fingers for her!
I've had Katie and the twins at the doctor several times in the last couple of weeks. All 3 are coughing up a storm. Katie and Leslie have been put on inhalers, and those seem to be helping. Katie had to have a chest x ray, and it did show some junk in her lungs, but not to the point of pneumonia, yet. While we were at the doctor, he suggested taking some blood from me, as it's been a while since we checked my levels. Well, the report came back, and there are some really low numbers. He's calling in an appointment for me with the Hematologist. Keep your fingers crossed that there's nothing seriously wrong. I'm a bit worried!
