Nancy - Good luck with the carpal tunnel surgery. Let me know how it goes. I'm thinking I'll be needing it at some point. My hands go numb if I type for too long. Congratulations on the house cleaning! My house is clean, but I really need to "deep clean" it by Thursday, as I'm hosting book club. I don't envy you your math homework! I am the world's biggest math idiot! I can't even help Katie and Jacob with theirs! Bad mommy!
PIO - Welcome! I'm so sorry that you aren't feeling well! Take it easy and rest, Rest, REST!!! A belated Happy Father's Day to your hubby, as well! I can relate to you on the change of seasons! We woke up this morning to a mountain full of Fall colored leaves, and a definite chill in the air. Of course, now it's hot and I had to turn the A/C back on, but there's the promise of Fall in the air.
Janice - Katie's meal went quite well! She roasted a turkey breast with sweet potatoes, so the juice from the potatoes helped to season the turkey. It was weird for us, as her "audience" to eat it, and not be able to use pepper, butter or other seasoning. However, I have to say, her cornmeal pancakes with honey were really yummy! I really hope she gets an A on this assignment, because I don't think we could take a "do over."
It's 10:35 here, and I really need to get things in gear! I need to make a menu plan for this week, do the shopping, attend a Drama booster meeting, and go to a city council meeting tonight. We just found out that a drug rehab center has purchased a home a block away from us where they intend to house up to 24 men recovering from drug and alcohol dependency. Now, I'm not against that, but this is a very residential neighborhood, and I just don't think it's a good idea to have this where there are, at last count, over 70 children in elementary school! Alan and I are planning on going to the meeting to lend support to those who want to see the rehab center moved into the center of town, instead of a residential neighborhood. This same company tried to do the same thing a few years ago, but were voted down. This time, they are using the tack that drug and alcohol dependency are recognized disabilities, now, so the ADA works in their favor. We'll see what happens.
No idea what we'll do for dinner. Maybe tuna casserole. I need to get to the store!!!

Oh how I needed this laugh. Thanks for the warning. I remember I had to do some research a while back for my job. Some now I got directed to some S&M website I don't think my hand every found that mouse so quick. I am still blushing a it has been more than a few years.
Bad enough to go there, all our sites were monitored! But with the IT guy watching my screen!
