I just found this....Also in Raleigh. I may run over there real fast, just before my DH's surprise 40th birthday party at 4pm. I will have dd 9 with me...so count me in for 2.

Do you think we should also give the Panera a call and give them a heads up that we will be showing up sometime after 2 (I believe some people are planning on doing a bit of shopping)? I think they have a fair amount of seating, but I can't remember exactly.

I am still new to the boards, but I have seen reference to lime green a few times....PLEASE explain this to me...I assume it is a "Dis" thing but what is the background on it. (I want to understand the background before I start walking around in lime green looking like a frog)

You can make that call...sorry, I'm one of the ones that is there to do some shopping. Looks like we will have a nice little group. I'm glad I called the Disney Store, I'm sure that they would be wondering why so many out front. When I called the manager she knew about Dis and was very happy we picked to meet there.

I have some "hello my name is" name tags, so I'll have one on that reads NC State.

DH is not feeling too hot this morning, so we're probably not going to make it out to Raleigh. Sorry we're going to miss meeting y'all--next time!-- but have a magical meet!

Turns out we managed to bring in 9 (total, kids included) for the very first Raleigh get together. We still had quite a diverse group when it came to how we view WDW, but I think it was all positive.

I'd like to thank NC State for pulling this all together and being the cheerleader. I also want to apologize to the ones that asked me to join them at Panera's. I very confidently said, that I would find them. Turns out I was quite wrong. Before you throw mouse ears at me, remember I've only been in the area for 4 months...I consider it fortunate that I even found the mall.

Hopefully, meeting will happen again. It is nice to put a face with the members of DIS.

I too enjoyed meeting everyone today. By the time I was finished shopping it was well pasted 5:00. Let's do it again. Thank you to everyone that came out.

What a great surprise when I got home....I have my welcome packet with luggage tags! I'm going to WDW in 34 days!!

Sickness must be going around, I woke up not feeling well, but still had to put on my DH's 40th birthday party, so I missed the DIS meeting.
