Does anyone know how much cigarettes are at disney, either by the pack, or carton? and where to buy them.

I can't recall ever seeing them for sale anywhere on property, though they may have them at the gas station, maybe.

I don't smoke, but when I was in the gift shop at ASMU spring of '05 I noticed they had some in a drawer for $5 a pack. Heard they where expensive but my guess is not that high. Better make sure you bring some from home.

BRING THEM FROM HOME! That is, if you don't have transportation offsite.

I know they sell them at Sosa Cigar Co. in Pleasure Island and I believe in the location at DTD West Side for $5/pack.

Also, I recall buying a pack for the same price at OKW General Store. Those are the only two I know of.

I think "most" resorts have them under/behind the counter....dont know prices though and I dont think they have a large selection.

I know the resort gift shops have them, but no idea on price, but sure they are high.

I'm another who would encourage you to bring them with you.

My son gets mine at a discount, so I stock up before my trip.

You can buy the more common brands (ie: Marlboro, Newport, etc) in the hotel gift shops. Just go up to the counter and ask. Not sure how much they are there as I planned ahead and brought a carton with me on my trip, but assume they are a tad overpriced. $6-7 would be my guess.

If you're from the northeast, they probably won't be much more expensive at Disney.

But the OP was asking where they could get them and for the cost, not if they should be sold there or not.

I personally believe there are many things WDW shouldn't sell, but that would be a different thread.

I found this info elsewhere. Not sure how up to date it is, but hope it helps.

"For those wishing to purchase cigarettes at WDW you will not find them on display, they must be requested. They are sold at the resort gift shops and Sosa Family Cigars in West Side at Downtown Disney. Please note that you may find the prices much higher than what you would be paying at home. A tip for smokers - bring along enough cigarettes from home to last the duration of your trip!"

Yeah - they should just stick with the fattening-sugar-induing-coma "Gee, I need a shot of insulin" things to sell.

*ahem* Theyre over priced at WDW itself - however, you can get them at most resort gift shops. They -used- to sell them at the parks too, at one place (for instance - Britain in EPCOT) but Im pretty sure that stopped. I remember buying a pack there in 99-ish for $7! ! ! ! ! AHHHH! OUCH!

Bring them with you.

May be cheaper - but that was YEARS AGO... .couldnt even tell you the cost now.

I dont buy them there any longer - I bring them.

When I was there in January, I stayed at the Pop Century and I bought my cigarettes in the hotel gift shop. They keep them behind the counter, but just go ask and they'll be happy to sell them to you. They were a little under $5 a pack for the major brands, Camel and Marlboro and they didnt really have much by way of selection. Considering how much Disney increases prices on food, candy, alcohol, and just about anything else that can be sold, I dont think they price on cigarettes is too outragious.
