Impact of Skyliner on Epcot Resorts' Back Entrance to Epcot

The biggest impact to the entrance occurs when a boat arrives, just as it was before the Skyliner. The biggest difference at night is that more people watch the fireworks from the bridge between UK and France than before. There is a large crowd leaving from Epcot through the International Gateway, but it moves quickly.

If the Skyliner is down when the park closes then they direct people to buses at the Boardwalk.

One of the many things I love about the BC has always been our nice, quiet back entrance to Epcot. I am dreading our next visit as I assume it is now a mess with the hundreds of people streaming in on the Skyliner. What is it like?
We've stayed at YC/BC a few times before and after Skyliner. There is a little more traffic at IG but nothing crazy. Leaving the park at close is more noticeable than coming in in the mornings but the crowd thins out once you walk past Skyliner.

With the new set up, is there a no bag line?

Yes, there is.

When the Skyliner goes down, there have been times that a Skyliner bus was deployed from BW instead of making people go to the front.

I was staying at Pop when Riviera opened, and I did not notice a huge difference. They more than doubled the capacity to enter the park, and the lines moved better than my experience at the front of the park (which they are also improving).

It’s not going to be like the “good old days” but it’s not bad either.

In December there wasn’t a No bag line - but we were there mid-day so maybe they have it in the morning.
