Impact of BCV on BWV ressies

Peterd, before we switched our ressies to BCV, we had them at BWV from Nov.6-9,checking out on the 10th, so that wouldn't have helped you. I should also mention that I called to get this standard view at exactly 11 months, learning my lesson from last year when I waited until 9 months to call and had to be waitlisted for standard view. However, don't give up: they called me around the end of the summer for our Nov. trip to inform me that our standard view became available. You still have lots of time.

Nicky, thanks. We called at the 11 month window for our original ressies, but as time went by, more and more family decided to go. I'm just hoping that we get lucky and get a few standard views, so then we would cancel a studio and two bedroom, and upgrade to the GV. One of my friends is buying soon, so when he does we can always upgrade then. I haven't had that much trouble getting the GV on short notice in the past. Thanks again.

We own at BWV and are going to WDW in Nov....

in Dec (11 months out) dh had a serious illness... we were unsure if there would even BE a vacation in Nov, let alone when. It was the very last thing on our minds...

He recovered (YAYAYYYYYY!!!) and in Feb, I tried to make BWV ressies for Nov.... waitlist. In April, had no prob making OKW ressies for beginning of our stay. They offered BCV for dates we would have been at BWV, so after discussion with all, decided to go for it!

I did tell DH that for our Oct 03 family trip, we WILL be making the ressies from BCV while we are still there!!!!!
