Hi Just looking for some advice really as cant seem to get through to the airline.
We are flying US Airways Manchester to Phili and then a connecting flight to Orlando.
My questions are these: ( i apologise if they seem naive )
When would I go through immigration ?
Also do i get my bags at phili and then have to check them in for the next flight or will they be automatically transferred.
Is check in 3 hours before at Manchester ?
I have a four hour stopover at Phili, again do I have to check in 3 hours before for the connecting flight.
Again I apologise if this seems somewhat naive but we have never flew this far before or had connecting flights etc.
Thanks in advance

You go through immigration at the first airport you land in in the USA.

You will have to collect your bags (after immigration, but before Customs), and then clear Customs with them. If you are staying on Disney and want to use DME this can work to your advantage ..... ask Disney for enough tags in advance, tag the bags at Philli after customs and before they get re-loaded, and let DME work its magic, so you don't have to see them again before your room. (I read today that some people do this but leave one bag to carry themselves, with items they want straight away that can't fit in a carry-on ... I hadn't thought of "mix-and-match" before)

2nd edit .... "Philli", not "Phillip" .... Dang auto-correct.

you would clear at phill and your flight into orlando would be classed as domestic.

international flights I normally give my self 4 hours, the check in probably opens three hours before, I like the extra hour just to make sure I get there on time. ( DH is always late so i tell him things are an 1/2 hour to an hour before they are)
